TANCET Application Process

Given beneath are steps to complete the application process for TANCET 2021:

  • Step 1: Application process

    The TANCET 2021 application process was conducted on an online platform and it started as of January 19, 2021. The application form is common for all courses and needs to be filled in four steps –

    • 1. Registration,
    • 2. Filling other details in the form,
    • 3. Uploading photograph and signature and
    • 4. Fee payment.

    The application fee can be paid through

    • - Credit/Debit Card and
    • - Netbanking modes.
  • Step 2: Admit card

    The Admit Card for TANCET 2021 was launched on the 5th of March on the official website: http://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet/. Aspirants who complete the registration process by paying the application fee will be able to download the TANCET admit card from the official website by logging in with the required details.

  • Step 3: TANCET exam

    All registered aspirants need to appear in the entrance examination. The TANCET 2021 question paper carried MCQs that aspirants need to solve within 2 hours.

  • Step 4: Announcement of TANCET Result

    TANCET results are declared online. The TANCET 2021 result was announced on April 1 on the official website of Anna University. To check the result, aspirants needed to log in with their registered email ID and password. The scorecard displays the sectional and overall marks/percentiles. Qualified aspirants need to participate in counselling for admission to MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME/MBA and MCA courses.

  • Step 5: Counselling & Admission

    TANCET Counselling is done for admissions for aspirants in various programmes. To appear for the TANCET 2021 counselling, qualified aspirants need to first register by paying the needed fees. Seats are allotted to aspirants as per their preferred institute, rank in the merit list, cutoff and branches. Aspirants who are allotted seats need to pay the requisite fees to secure their admission.
