Exam Pattern KIITEE 2024

The complete KIITEE 2024 exam pattern, including the marking scheme, is available below for candidates to review:

  • The exam will consist of objective questions with four possible responses
  • The exam will be computer-based (online).
  • Each right answer will receive four points in the marking scheme.
  • Negative Marking: For incorrect responses, there will be negative marking. Each incorrect response will result in a one-mark deduction.
  • The exam will last 180 minutes in total.
  • The exam is entirely English based.

For exam preparation, candidates should use the following tips:

  • First and foremost, candidates must devise a preparation strategy.
  • As per your course, divide your time evenly across all of the components. Prepare a schedule based on your preferred timing.
  • Learn everything you need to know about the KIITEE syllabus and test structure, as well as how to apply for it.
  • Prepare with the best books and study materials on the market or the internet.
  • Practice previous year's question papers to get a better understanding of the exam format and to assess your performance.

Result for KIITEE 2024

  • The candidates can check the result by visiting the official website of KIIT.
  • Qualified candidates will be able to download their rank cards from the website. The institute will send the rank card to the candidates.
  • Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the attempt, advantage and qualification lists are drawn. Separate lists are made for admission into totally different courses.
  • Counselling and admission procedure are meted out on the idea of their names within the advantage list.

Counselling for KIITEE 2024

Counselling and seat assignments shall be made solely based on merit, that is, based on performance in the Entrance Examination.

Following the announcement of the results, the KIIT website will post the counselling schedule. Candidates must attend the counselling sessions on time.

Counselling will end after all of the seats reserved for the KIITEE-2024 have been filled.

Document verification will take place during the counselling/acceptance process. So that records on identification, age, qualifying examination, and candidate category can be verified. Candidates shall not be considered for admission if any of the documents are found to be incorrect.

Documents required for counselling

For B.Tech Courses

  • 1. Scan a copy of your 10th-grade diploma
  • 2. Scan a copy of your class 12th grade report card (For Pass Candidates)
  • 3. For Reserve Category Candidates, an SC/ST/PC Certificate is required.
  • 4. Scan a recent colour passport photo at passport size.
  • 5. Certificate of Completion of the Diploma Program, as well as a three-year mark sheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates)
  • 6. (For M.Tech./LLM/Ph.D candidates) B.Tech./B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate
  • 7. Relevant Certificate provided by the Competent Authority, explicitly stating the candidate's Reservation Criteria claim.
  • 8. Score Card for GATE (for M.Tech. GATE Qualified only)
  • 9. Demand Draft in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar, for Rs. 75,000/-, which includes the Counseling Registration Fee of Rs.10,000 (Non-Refundable). The remaining fee is due on the day of reporting, according to the charge schedule.

Note: Final Allotment is contingent on the verification of class 12th grade transcripts and the satisfaction of qualifying requirements.
