This course provides an in-depth exploration of advanced Excel skills, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, visualization, and effective spreadsheet management. Students will learn to leverage powerful “What-If Analysis” tools—such as Data Tables, Goal Seek, and Solver—to evaluate various scenarios and identify optimal solutions for complex problems.
The course also introduces advanced formatting capabilities, including Conditional Formatting, which allows users to apply formatting based on defined criteria. This enables students to highlight trends, detect patterns, and spot anomalies quickly and clearly within datasets.
In addition to analysis tools, students will build proficiency in spreadsheet organization—learning how to create, rename, and manage worksheets. They will also master techniques for creating cell references between sheets, using both the mouse and keyboard.
The course covers essential concepts of cell referencing, including relative, absolute, and mixed references, ensuring students understand when and how to use each type effectively.
By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills needed to analyze data with confidence, support decision-making, and design professional, well-structured Excel workbooks.
