The University is known and recognised by UGC and is also an AIU Member. It provides undergraduate, postgraduate, executive and doctoral programmes in multiple streams such as Engineering, Basic & Applied Sciences, Commerce & Management, Health Sciences and Arts & Humanities, etc. It is ranked 4th in the new universities category by Karnataka Rating Framework (KSURF). It was one of the top-ranked in the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) India Regional Finals at Kolkata.

The University has six schools under its branch namely, Medical Education & Research, Engineering, Commerce and Management, Basic and Applied Sciences, Health Sciences and Arts and Humanities. The Institution has got numerous Capability Enhancement and Development Cells/Centres like Centre for Executive Education and a Center for English and Foreign Languages. There is course wise segregation of eligibility:

For B.Tech (Bachelor OF Technology)

• Aspirants should have cleared PUC/CBSE/ICSE/10+2 or equivalent examinations from any recognised Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45% for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required in 10+2 or equivalent.
• Along with Physics and Mathematics in class 12, candidates must have any one of the subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Electronics, English.

For BPharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

• Aspirants should have a PUC degree or any equivalent examination certificate from a recognised board or university.
• Applicants must have scored at least 40% in either of these combinations: PCM, PCB, PCMB, PC & Computer Science or PC & Electronics.

For PharmD

• Applicants must have passed 10+2 from PUC or any other equivalent examination.
• Candidates must have Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects in 10+2 or equivalent with either Biology or Mathematics.

For Post-Graduation Courses

For MTech (Master of Technology):

A degree in BE/BTech with at least 50% of marks in aggregate in the respective field.

For MBA: Master of Business Administration

• Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of three years duration from a recognised university
• Candidates who are still in their graduation but last year are eligible to apply for DSAT 2024
• The candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST & OBC category).

Step-2: Download DSAT 2024 Admit Card

Candidates who are registered successfully for the exam can only get access to the admit card on the University’s official website. This is an important document for having permission to sit for the exams, and thus must be safely carried to the exam hall. The admit cards are generally made available at least a week before the date of examination so that confidantes can get them easily.

Step-3: Appear for DSAT 2024

DSAT 2024 is going to be conducted in June. Candidates will be given 2 hours for multiple-choice questions. The medium of the exam is English. Students should note that there is no fixed question paper pattern for DSAT.

Step 4: Check DSAT 2024 Result

The result for the DSAT examination is declared in a month from the date of examination. Students can check their scorecards online by entering their registration numbers. Students who clear the exam will make it to the merit list prepared by the admission authorities.

Step 5: Counselling

After the declaration of the result, The University will be conducting the counselling round. Candidates should be present in person for the counselling round along with the required documents.

Online Application Process

• Visit the official website of DSAT 2024.
• New candidates should register with a valid email address and mobile number.
• Already registered candidates are required to log in with the required credentials.
• Click on “ Fill Online Application Form ”

• Students who want to fill their application forms offline can visit the official website and download the application form.
• After downloading, students should fill in all the essential details in the application form.
• Application form print needs to be submitted along with the fees at the University.

DSAT 2024 Application Fee

Aspirants can only pay the authentic fees online mode on the official website.
Students filling online DSAT 2024 application form can pay the fee using following the below steps:

• 4. HDFC Bank portal will be opened in a new tab on the screen
• 5. Then, select fees, State as Karnataka, and City as Bangalore and Dayanand Sagar University from the Type of Institution.
• 6. Next, click Pay online and the page will navigate to enter details
  • Enter your Application number
  • Add in your credit/debit card details and process the payment.
• 7. Admit cards will be allotted to candidates only who register successfully for the entrance test.
• 8. The officials usually release the admit cards at least a week before the day of the entrance exam.
• 9. It should be noted that the admit card is an essential document that needs to be carried by the candidates to the exam centre.

DSAT 2024 Cut Off

Once the result is declared, next week a cut off list is published on the official website. The cut-off list is published based on course and category. Cut off marks will help in determining their rank for the process of admission.

Cut off of DSAT 2024 is the minimum score that the students will have to secure for admission. If the Candidate scores lower than the determined cutoff, then he or she will not be allowed to sit for counselling or will not be eligible for admission.

Dayanand Sagar University prepares the cut off for shortlisting candidates that will help in the counselling process. The factors that determine cut off for the particular year are:

DSAT 2024 Important Instructions

For assisting purposes, several instructions for DSAT exams are provided to have a standard code and easy instructions. Follow the same from below:

• A candidate must reach the examination centre on time. And he/she will not be allowed at other sessions, and only on the allotted time as per the Admit Card.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre/hall after the commencement of the examination.
• Only after the successful verification by the in-charge or invigilator of the DSAT Admit Card, a sign on the attendance sheet will be allowed which will notify the presence.
• The candidate can not skip the instructions given by the invigilators at the exam centre or in the examination room
• Candidates found in any possible argument with the invigilators or other examination centre staff in charge, will not be taken lightly. Hence to have no harsh actions for the same, behave decently.
• The candidate must not talk or discuss any matter during the examination.
• The candidate must behave in the examination room and if any disturbances are found on part of property, invigilator or other candidates harsh actions may be taken.
• Complete silence must be maintained during the examination.
• No electronic devices and study material are allowed in the examination hall
• The decision of the conducting authority that is Dayananda Sagar University shall be binding and final in all matters.
