Dayanand Sagar Admission Test or DSAT is a university level entrance exam that is conducted every year by the Dayanand Sagar University (DSU) for admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), was established in 2014 in Bengaluru and was founded by Late. Sri Dayananda Sagar and is an extensive part of the Dayananda Sagar Group of Institutions. DSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
All the candidates must meet the eligibility conditions before aspiring for DSU, in particular.
For undergraduate courses
One must be 10+2 qualified or any degree diploma holder from an equivalent exam.
Candidates of class 12 or equivalent exam currently are eligible to appear in the exam.
DSAT 2021 Admission Process
Step-1: Fill in the Application form
Students interested in appearing for DSAT need to fill in the application form and submit the same with the required documents. The candidates are required to check the eligibility of the exam before filling the application form. The fee needs to be paid through Demand Draft (DD).
DSAT 2021 Admit Card:
To download the admit card, students are required to follow the below-mentioned steps:
- 1) Visit the official website of Dayananda Sagar University
- 2) Then, Click on the ‘Admit Card’ link.
- 3) Aspirants are then redirected to a new tab where login credentials need to be filled
- 4) Admit Card will be displayed.
- 5) Then, they can print out the admit card.
- 6) As soon as the candidate gets the print of the admit card s/he must check that all the details mentioned on it are correct.
DSAT 2021 Exam Pattern
- The exam is going to be conducted on different dates in May.
- The language of the paper is English only.
- The exam has both online/offline modes.
- There are 100 questions to be attempted in 2 hours.
- There will be multiple-choice questions in the DSAT 2021examination.
DSAT 2021 Exam Centers
DSAT 2021 Exam has 82 cities as centres spread across 20 states, in India. Applicants are asked to fill in their choice of exam centre at the time of application.
DSAT 2021 Result
DSAT 2021 Result is expected in the first week of June 2021. The result includes individual marks secured, Merit rank and others. With all these the cut off list is also published on the website a few days after the result.

DSAT 2021 Syllabus
DSAT 2021 Syllabus especially for admissions into Undergraduate Courses, will include the syllabus of Class 11 and 12 of Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and English.
But for Post Graduate Courses, the syllabus will be the corresponding undergraduate course that the candidate has completed in their past. And, there will be an additional section that will test candidates’ General Knowledge, Aptitude and Reasoning in various fields.
Q1: Elaborate Computer Based Test (CBT)?
JEE (Advanced) and JEE (Main) examinations are conducted online using a procedure known as Computer Based Test (CBT), which is completed on a computer at an approved testing facility. ALLEN has established the Computer Based Test (CBT) Series to provide aspirants with a realistic atmosphere.
Q2: What if a student fails to show up for a scheduled test?
Ans : After the DSAT panel announces the All India rank, students will be able to take a CBT practise exam online. They will only receive the All India predicted rank.
Q3: Is there a fee for the application form?
The application form is free for students who want to apply online, while the cost of an offline OMR-based application form is 200.
