AUAT 2024 Application Dates

Dates of availability of application form, submission of the form, and all other related events under AUAT 2024, are different for UG, PG Programs, and Some more Programmes like Nursing.

• Application Form can be checked and filled on the official website i.e. aliah.ac.in from March 2024.
• The online application submission date for B. Tech, BCA and other Integrated MBA courses is April 2024 but for all other programs, it is June 2024.
• AUAT 2024 Exam will be held in
  • 1. Mid-May 2024 for UG
  • 2. July 2024 for PG Programs

The release date for AUAT 2024 admit card is June 21, 2024. And this important document can be downloaded from the official website only. Candidates will have to log in to avail of the admit card. The AUAT admit card is generally available one week before the entrance exam. Candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the application form can avail of the hall ticket once released online on the official university of the website.

How to download AUAT 2024 Admit Card

• Step 1: The candidate will have to visit the official website of Aliah University to avail of the AUAT admit card.
• Step 2: Once the candidate is on the homepage of the Aliah University website, the candidate has to find the link ‘AUAT 2024’, which will be present right on top.
• Step 3: On clicking the ‘AUAT 2024’ link, the candidate will have to click on the button ‘Download Admit Card’.
• Step 4: The candidate will be directed to a new page on the browser where they will have to enter their Application ID number and date of birth.
• Step 5: The candidate can then register to admit card will appear on the screen which needs to be downloaded.
• Step 6: The candidate can then download and take a printout of the AUAT admit card. Candidates are advised to keep two copies of the admit card.

Things to Remember and take care

• The candidate must carry the AUAT admit card to the allotted exam venue.
• Candidates who do not have their AUAT admit card, will not be allowed to appear for the AUAT exam.
• There is no provision for sending any kind of hard copy of the admit card to the candidates, hence one must download the same from the official website.
• Admit card can be downloaded by entering the application ID number and date of birth.
• Along with the admit card, the candidate also has to carry valid identity proof as well.
• Candidates are advised to carefully examine the admit card and in case of any discrepancy, notify on an urgent basis to the AUAT office.
• Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre before the scheduled time.
• After the AUAT exam, candidates are advised to keep the admit card as it can be helpful for future references.

• 1) BA in various subjects

  The candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and should have the relevant subjects.

• 2) B-Tech

  The candidates should have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have secured a minimum of 60%.

• 3) BSc

  The candidate should have the relevant subjects and should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60%.

• 4) BBA

  The candidate should do 10+2 with the relevant subjects and should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

• 5) MCA

  The candidate must hold a degree of BSc (H) in Maths or BSc in maths simple with a minimum of 45% marks.

Step to Fill up the Application Form (Online and Offline)

For submitting the AUAT 2024 Application Form in Offline Mode

• The application forms will be available in the office of Aliah University from March – June 15, 2024.
• It can be bought by paying the prescribed amount for the AUAT 2024 application form.
• Use a Blue or Black colour Ball Pen and write in CAPITAL LETTERS only.
• AUAT 2024 application form can be downloaded from the official website of Aliah University i.e. www.aliah.ac.in and can be submitted by post.
• Application forms for AUAT can also be purchased from the office of Aliah University and submission can be done by hand personally.
• Submit completed application form by post or by hand i.e physically with appropriate payment of the admission fee through DD (if the application is to be submitted by Post) or by Cash (if opting for direct submission).
• Submit the AUAT 2024 application form with the photocopies of all academic records, age proof, category proof and domicile certificate.

For submitting the AUAT 2024 Application Form Online

• Visit the official website of AUAT i.e. aliah.ac.in
• Go to admission and click on AUAT 2024 application form
• Complete the registration formalities.
• Fill in the appropriate entries in the application form for AUAT 2024 exam
• Make online payment
• A confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email address after the payment. It will contain summarised details of the responses of the candidate in filling up the application form for AUAT 2024.
• Candidates need to take a print of the confirmation sheet and send it to Aliah University with all academic documents, age proof, category proof within the prescribed time limit.

AUAT 2024 Application Form Correction

• Correction or Change in AUAT 2024 application form is not allowed and no facility is provided to edit the application form.
• A separate admission cell is there to facilitate applicants for any requirements or guidance.
• Candidates can even take help from the admission help desk

Step 2: Fill Application Form

• Download the application form first from the official website or else purchase the application form from the university itself physically
• Fill in the personal and academic details.
• Upload certain documents mentioned in instructions for proof like mark sheets, photograph & signature
• Submit the form after paying the application fee.

Successful registration and form filling has been done.

Step 3: Admit Card

After successfully submitting the AUAT 2024 application form, the admit card will be accessible and thus can be downloaded from the official website of Aliah University. Candidates can log in by application form number and date of birth.

Step 4: Appear for AUAT exam

Candidates will be appearing for the AUAT exam which is going to happen in offline mode (pen and paper test). The students are required to go through the AUAT exam pattern, marking scheme and AUAT syllabus to ace the exam. The students must carry their respective AUAT admit card to the allotted exam centre. Candidates are not allowed to appear for the entrance exam if they fail to take the admit card along with them to the centre.

Step 5: AUAT Result

The AUAT results will be declared in the form of a rank list which is dependent on the marks secured by the aspirants in the AUAT exam. Merit lists will be declared once the AUAT results have been announced. Students can view the AUAT results on the official website of the university once released.

Step 6: E-Counselling

Candidates’ whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be registering themselves through e-counselling. The aspirants must enter their application ID number and date of birth to log in. They have to select the programs as per the preference of admission and then pay a counselling fee. Once all formalities have been completed online, then the candidate can appear in person for the counselling session at the university. The dates will be released online only.

PART A

The subjects covered under Part A are English, Islamic Studies and General Knowledge. Questions about Reading Comprehensions, Para Jumbles, Grammar and Vocabulary. Under Islamic Studies, candidates will have to attain in-depth knowledge of Islamic Literature and Culture.

Candidates will be asked questions based on the legacy of Islam, its literature, Quranic Islam, History and Philosophy of Islam, etc. The third subject of Part A is General Studies which entails questions from Politics, Economics, Business, Sports, etc.

PART B

The topics and patterns of both the papers vary but for B.Tech and B.Sc. Program subjects included are- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those who appear for B.Sc in Biological Science will have to study topics covered under Biological Science.

Exam for 5-years Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc in English shall be based on reading comprehensions, Para Jumbles, Grammar and Vocabulary. Similarly, subject-specific topics will be covered for Business Administration and Geography.

Those appearing for Postgraduate courses will have to go through subjects and topics studied at the time of Graduation.

For BA programmes candidates need to know and understand the exam pattern, marking scheme and syllabus well enough to ace the entrance exam which is conducted by Aliah University. The entrance exam is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A is based on general knowledge and testing of the English skills which is of 25 marks while Part B is based on the course opted for, which carries 75 marks.

Subjective question paper for:

All B.Tech. & BCA programmes will comprise
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Integrated BBA-MBA programme will be on basic Mathematics, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, Commercial Arithmetic and elementary knowledge in the concerned area.

All UG (3-year) programmes (except Arabic, Urdu, Islamic Theology, B.Ed and Nursing) will comprise of concerned subjects as per syllabi of classes XI and XII of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).

The nursing programme will comprise Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

3-year Honours in Arabic and Urdu comprise as per the Arabic and Urdu syllabus of H.S. or equivalent examination.

A 3-year B.A. in Theology (Honours and General) is based on the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education.

All 2-years Masters programmes (including M. Tech programmes except MJMC) are segregated subject wise.

MJMC will be on English (concept of Language and Literature), Fundamentals of Journalism & Mass Communication having its role as the fourth pillar of Indian Democracy, Sports and Cinema.

The 3-year MCA programme will consist of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Problem Solving Questions, Discrete Quantitative Analysis and Basic Mathematics.

LATERAL ENTRY to B.Tech programme will have Mathematics, Basic Computer Science, Strength of Material, Engineering Mechanics, and Environmental Engg. & Basic Electrical Technology.

AUAT Exam Pattern

The question papers of the AUAT-2019 examination are 100 marks and the exam duration is 2 hours in total 100 numbers of objective type in multiple-choice questions (MCQ) except B.A.(Hons.)/M.A. in English, Arabic, Bengali and M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication. There will be 84 objective types in multiple-choice questions (MCQ) (84 marks) and the rest (16 marks) will be descriptive type questions in B.A.(Hons.)/M.A. in English, Arabic and Bengali. and M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.

All questions of AUAT- 2019 (UG and PG) will be 20% on General knowledge, General English and Islamic Culture, and 80% from the relevant subject. The AUAT question paper will be divided into two parts which are Part A and Part B.

Part A – Questions asked will be on general knowledge and testing English skills.
Part B – Questions asked in Part B will be based on the course opted by the candidate.

AUAT 2024 Important Instructions

• Report at the exam centre half an hour before the commencement of the AUAT 2024 exam.
• Students would be prohibited inside the test centre without the issued admit card by Aliah University.
• Electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the test centre which includes mobile phones, calculators, etc.
• Follow all the instructions given by the invigilator and do not open the exam booklet seal unless instructed.
• You will be granted 10 minutes to read the test booklet thoroughly and a few minutes to fill in all the information in the answer sheet.
• Sign on the answer sheet as well as on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator.
• In case you do not fill in inaccurate details, the answer sheet may not get considered, resulting in disqualification from the exam.
• Answers have to be darkened correctly in the OMR sheet.
• The candidate is not allowed to leave the test centre before the given timings.
• A candidate who is found guilty of any unfair means like cheating or peeping in someone else’s paper will be held responsible for the disqualification.

The scorecard of the AUAT Exam is a crucial document that must be produced at the time of counselling cum admission process. The scorecard is valid only for the academic session 2024-21 admissions. Candidates must take the printout of the scorecard for future reference.
