The LGBT community is one of the most blooming groups of people who are doing well in all aspects of their life. In every industry, the people from the community are setting new bars and are breaking stereotypes. Pandya Store star Akshay Kharodia has expressed his opinion and has applauded the community for their good work.
Firstly he spoke about the term 'Pride Month' and how justified it is according to him. The actor says, "Yes, it is. But I think we should not only celebrate them on a particular date but every day. Your respect should not be limited to the pride month only and showing respect or acceptance only once in a month is not right but everyone should respect them every day"
On the other hand, he further revealed if he would ever be a part of a show which is based on the LGBT backdrop, to which he said "yes. Because it is something versatile and every actor craves to play something hard. So if I get an offer to perform such a character I would play it"
Furthermore, the Pandya store actor emphasized eliminating the contradiction from the society and pleaded to make space for no judgments in the society. The actor said, "Every human has a right to live. Previously we refrained from talking about the LGBTQ community openly but now India is changing, we are celebrating them. They are not aliens, they are also humans. We should always appreciate them. It's their life and they can live however they want. I have friends who are gay but I'm very open to them. They are good friends of mine. I think 'HUMAN' is a community. We should not tag anyone in a particular community. We all are humans."
On the professional front, he is currently seen in the hit show Pandya Store and has been doing various music videos as well.
