A: CEED exam is held in both modes, online mode as well as offline mode. CEED test is bifurcated into two sections, that is, Part A and Part B. A. Aspirants can pay the application fee for the CEED exam in online mode only. CEED examination 2024 application fee for women/ SC/ ST/ PwD applicants is Rs 1,600 and for all other applicants, the application fee is Rs 3,200.
Q. Is the CEED exam very tough?
A. The level of difficulty of the CEED test has been maintained by experts over the years. Although, most design applicants share that if the difficulty level of all design entrance exams conducted for PG level courses is compared then CEED is slightly easier than NID Entrance Exam. This is prominent because the drawing questions asked in NID DAT are considered to be more difficult than the ones put forth in the CEED exam.

A. Number of seats available for the CEED admission varies from one institute to the other (that accept the exam scores for admission). For example, IIT Delhi has 20 seats on offer for students who clear the CEED exam. Aspirants are informed that CEED is just a qualifying examination. Therefore, any applicant who clears the CEED exam needs to further appear for admission rounds as conducted by the college where they want to apply for admission.
