Kendriya Vidyalaya No.-3, Agra Cantt. came into existence in September, 1986 and was formally inaugurated by Sh. D.P. Kharab, Assistant Commissioner KVS Jaipur Region and Brig R. P. Limaya.
The school was opened in response to the KVS HQ Letter F1/12 (Esst /86 – KVS JPR dated 21st July 1986). The school shifted in the new building in May 2002. The school runs classes from standard I to XII and its affiliation was granted vide letter no. CBSE/ Aff. / 21083 / 2002 / 5708-10. The present strength of the school is around 1550.
