ADHD in toddlers

Description

Does your little one has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder? It’s really not  easy to tell since toddlers tend to have difficulty paying attention in general.

Children in their toddler stage generally are not diagnosed with ADHD but many of their behaviors can lead some parents to wonder whether their child has it or not or he is at risk for developing it.

But ADHD is far more than just typical and  toddler behavior. According to the National Institutes of Health care and management record  the condition can extend beyond toddler age to affect teens and even adult lifestyle forever. This is why it’s very important to recognize the symptoms of ADHD in early childhood.

According to a some  research Source, some behaviors noted in toddlerhood could be related to the development of ADHD As a lifelong problem. However, considerably more  scientifically proven research is needed.

So typically these are the three main signs of the condition in kids having ADHD.

  • Inattention
  • Hyperactivity
  • Impulsivity

These behavior problem can also occur in some children without ADHD.  Your child won’t be diagnosed with the condition unless symptoms continue for more than  a year and affect their ability to participate in age-appropriate activities for several years coming to see .

Great care needs to be taken in diagnosing a child under 3 years of age with ADHD, particularly if proper medication is  considered. A diagnosis at this young age is best made by a child psychiatrist or a paediatrician specializing by observing the behavior and development.

Many child psychiatrists will not make a diagnosis until the child has been to the school and has grown up well . This is because a key criterion for ADHD is that the symptoms are present in two or more settings Terms  For example, if the child shows symptoms at home and at school, or with a parent and with friends or relatives a medical care taker is required.
