ADHD are related to each other in many other ways

 ADHD is not on the autism spectrum, but they share some of the common symptoms. And having one of these conditions generally increases the chances of having the other one.

But the newest version of it published in 2013, allows for a person to have a diagnoses with both.

But there are big differences in the type of therapy recommended for both the problems . Therapy for autism  like applied behavior analysis can be a great a with communication skills. It can also help to reduce repetitive behaviors, which is one of the signs of autism.

Therapy for ADHD is geared toward improving attention and organization skills of a person. It’s often paired with ADHD medications and therapies . But this medication may not really help kids who don’t have ADHD.

When they occur together

For example, some people with ADHD may experience symptoms, such as hyperactivity, intense focus and concentration on one item, that fall after the diagnostic criteria for ADHD.
