While ADHD is believed to be inherited genetically, but by effectively managing your child’s symptoms can prevent both the severity of the disorder and development of more serious problems over time. Early intervention has the key of positive outcomes for your child. The earlier you will look after your child’s problems, the more likely you will be able to prevent school peer pressures and social failure and other associated problems such as poor performance, underachievement and lack of self-esteem that may lead to delinquency or drug and alcohol abuse. Although life with your child may at times seem to be very difficult , but as a parent you can help built home and school environments that improve your child’s chances for successful life ahead.

There are no hard and fast rules, as ADHD can have different degrees of severity and symptoms Depending on person. However, children can benefit from person-centred or tailor-made approaches by there family members .

This disorder can cause a child to have poor impulse control, which can lead to a challenging life or inappropriate behaviors. But an important step for parents is to accept that ADHD simply represents a functional difference in the brain nerves . It does not mean that their child cannot learn right from wrong deeds , but that they may need to find other ways to support and help their child in developing positive outlook.

Praise your Childs ability

Always try to discuss problems your child is facing towards learning and help them to  find out the solution. Ask them what’s making it so difficult for them to focus during their lecture series . Playtime is one of the best investments you can make in your Childs free time The hours you spend playing with your children makes them feel that they are valuable and worth of your time.

Try to Focus your attention on your child during his playtime. Children are perceptive and will know if there mind is elsewhere. Dedicate your time and yourself to the game that you and your child are playing. That shared imagination and playful activities brings you closer together and lets your child know that you’re listening to them.

Get out into nature

Many Studies proves that spending time in nature can reduce the symptoms of ADHD. So you can Double up on the benefits by combining “green time” with some exercise. Try hiking, trail running, or walking in a local park to get some fresh air .

Meditation can help children manage their ADHD symptoms in their everyday life and can help them control the behaviour that cause difficulties with family, friends, and at school.

Healthy diet

A good protein rich diet with lot of fresh fruits , vegetables and animal products will surly help a patient of ADHD to overcome there problem of anxiety, hyperactivity and impulsivity. 

Positive thoughts

Though it may take some time to readjust your thought process , try to bring “happy thoughts” in your mind at bedtime. Set aside all worries and negative thoughts. Get into the habit of positive thinking at bedtime you can Think of a favourite  place vacation or your favourite  person .  Happy thoughts and good feelings that can make it easier to drift off to sleep. Be patient in nurturing, but don’t allow yourself to be bullied or intimidated by your child’s behaviours let your child know you believe in them and only see all the good things about them. Build resilience in them  by keeping your relationship with your child positive and loving.
