Introduction:

These math worksheets that are provided for class 3, have basic questions that are given for solving and this time, they are about a slightly more complex math concept, yes, this time they are about division.

We can understand here as well, that the questions that are given in the first sheet are in' fill in the blanks' style. Even attempting to answer these questions, will actually give a practice to the students and show the students how division is done.

Upon completing sheet1 , students will start to understand and learn the concept of division and answering similar questions in future will be easy.

After doing the given exercises in sheet1, the students will start to understand the concept of division much better

Instructions to solve the worksheet

There is a list of fill in the blanks type questions which are given in sheet 1. All of the fill in the blanks( questions) that are given in sheet 1, include relatively simple calculations. But here the challenge for the students is to understand the basics of division.

The questions in sheet 1, is an exercise that will help all students who are learning basic math concepts, the correct approach that will enable them to learn and understand the concepts of basic math. These worksheets are designed with the idea of teaching young students how to do basic division.

For example :

  • 73 ÷ 4
    Quotient = ______, Remainder = ______

The first sheet which happens to be a questionnaire has a few fill in the blanks. The worksheet is filled with a series of questions that are targeted toward the understanding of the basic math concept of division. In this question the student is asked to perform the basic calculation of division and to find both the quotient as well as the remainder.

Sheet two, is where the solutions can be found and in simpler words, it is also known as the answer key. (We can see that both the worksheet pages are not the same). Sheet 2 is the answer key and contains all the answers to the questions that are provided in sheet 1.

Conclusion

The student has to solve a list of questions about division. Upon completing the exercise, they will then be able to understand and even solve most of the basic math problems about division.

The students will then also start to understand the basic concepts of dividing numbers.

Memorizing the answers that are provided in the worksheet 2 is a good idea and upon attempting to do so will make the understanding of basic math concepts like division even easier. But what we need to remember is that with complicated math calculations like division, it is only through practice that the students will learn to improve themselves and get better in solving division sums.

Both sheets can then be compared side by side, the student will learn to properly refer to the answer sheet.

It is by now very clear that these worksheets are intended for teaching basic math concepts in an easy to learn fashion. It includes the numbers in a colorful font. This will also ‘attract’ the attention of the young students who are children and keep them 'engaged' in their learning process.
