Introduction:

The following maths worksheets are provided for class 3. The given questions that are included in the first sheet are about 20 division sums.

Practice makes perfect! Upon completion of all 20 questions that are in this first sheet students will have some practice and will get an idea of the concept of division.

Upon doing this exercise, they will start with 'understanding' the basics of maths and what it feels like to 'divide one number by the other'. They will understand the meaning of related terms like remainder, quotient and dividend.

There are 20 division sums given here in the first sheet.

We can observe that questions in the main question sheet are all relatively simple division calculations of just two numbers at a time.

The students will then start to understand how the process of Division is done!

They will learn much better if they attempt to do all 20 sums.(The problems that are given in sheet 1 are quite easy and are obviously for beginner-level maths students.

Soon the young student will start to understand and self learn the concept of basic Division in mathematics. These sheets are designed with the basic idea of imparting basic techniques to students on how to divide numbers two numbers effectively and easily

Instructions to solve the worksheet

The students will sense how to divide numbers as expected in the first sheet. They will also internalise the exact meaning of terms like quotient, dividend and remainder which is a basic part of division.

For eg. On the first row of the questionnaire, the question provided is.

48 ÷ 8 = _____

Upon reading the question provided on top, we have to fill in the blanks with the remainder and quotient on the next line.

In this case 48 is the dividend,

0 is the remainder, and the quotient is 6, divisor is 8.

Then sheet two is provided and is the answer key. (both pages aren't the same even though they appear). As the answer key, if you didn't know, it's purposely designed the same way as the first sheet. The second Sheet also contains all the solutions..

Conclusion

So the challenge for the young student is to do the division and write down the answers in the empty space provided.

The questions are very plainly understood, it is however a bit difficult for those children who generally have problems with doing their Division.

The students who are looking at the answers that are provided in the worksheet 2 will later find it easier to memorize, and internalize because of the above limitations.

Both the sheets can be analysed side by side, and the young student will then learn to properly refer to the answer sheet, not only for finding the right answer, but also for understanding the basic concepts of Division, the meaning of related concepts like dividend, quotient and remainder.

Than It is by far really well known and made very clear that both sheets are intended for teaching a very simple maths concept like division in an easy to learn fashion. This questionnaire has all the numbers in colorful fonts. This will attract and hold the attention of the young child and keep him/her engaged in the learning process.
