Counting Numbers Worksheet

Introduction:

The following two worksheets are a very effective way to teach young students of basic maths how to count using numbers 1-10. The worksheets are based on the topic "How many?( Choose your answer between values 1-10 only!) This is a basic counting numbers worksheet."

These worksheets are created based on the idea of helping students who are very young children to learn and understand how to count the objects between 1-10.

The student is expected to look at the picture and count the number of objects in the picture. Then they have to write down the answer in the blank space provided.

The answer key provides the students with the solution to the above question. Students who are bad in counting can refer to the answer key if they need help in counting ?

Instructions to solve the worksheet

This worksheet is specifically created for very small kids who know nothing about numbers. They are still young and don't understand how to count between 1 & 10.

The worksheet (sheet1) contains a picture of some ducks near a pond and some trees in an area which is away from the city. This picture is really appealing to children and also happens to be in a bright and endearing colour.

Sheet 1 which is the first worksheet, has the picture of the ducks and underneath the picture there is a question 'How many ducks are there in the picture?' Then there is a small blank space which is for filling in the answer.

The other sheet (sheet 2) is a copy of sheet 2, has the same picture with the ducks on it, and has the same question like in sheet 1 also.

In sheet 2 however, the solution is given next to the question, i.e. the number of ducks near the pond is told. From this we can understand that the second sheet is the answer key.

Conclusion

These worksheets can be a great and effective learning aid! They can be used for teaching students who are still young kids how to count using numbers 1-10 based on the picture provided.
