With time India faced great changes in both positive and negative ways. Even in terms of education, we have developed our system very well. Education has a measure of impact on people's living standards in India it's different for people who are living in different areas of the country.
We have different poverty lines, different mindsets, or even different languages. The Central Government implemented a plan that suits every part of the nation.
Even though we have improved so much but there are still some demerits that our country has to face, there are many challenges to it. Other developing countries have organized some ways to improve their literacy rate that we can also add to our education system.

Here are 7 immediate changes needed in the Indian education system:
1. Cutting cost of education
We have three levels on the basis of fees we could pay in our schools, first where just the elite go, they improve their skills as students or teachers. They have many opportunities and are preferred in many areas due to their educational background, second is private schools of our area which are for a normal middle class child and last is our government schools which are good or bad both. We can bring everyone on the same level and give every child a better education by cutting costs and standards.
2. Education system
Traditional systems were good in history, people were sincere about their studies and because of that they were easy to get education even in a hasty environment but nowadays technology has taken over us. It's hard to focus and that brought challenges to the education system.
Reading and learning culture is the worst when students do that just for passing the exam. We should launch a system that not only includes academic marking but also other activities, like play, painting, Short assessment, quiz or tours.
Lowering the burden of learning big books can contribute to students' academics and overall growth. We should improve our mark evaluation system and instead of giving marks on the basis of a three hour exam, it should include another curriculum.
3. Importance of every subject equally
We have survived the stream hierarchy for a long time now. We continue to live in the education system where maximum regard goes to science stream students. They end up being machines that end up going for high-wight age subjects and ignore interests. We have a standard in choosing a subject.
There should be equality in people pursuing different subjects or areas. We should let students choose streams of their choice and give them equal respect in their respective fields.
4. Teacher training
Even though it sounds cliche, yes teachers need training so they may have studied the subject but delivering that to students needs some training. We have some schools, even government schools, which have either fewer teachers or some who have no knowledge of teaching.
Some teachers are allotted connections and they are not good at delivering their knowledge to students. We should train teachers too in their subjects. Some students can lose focus, not because of the subject but the teacher too.
In rural areas, there are many places that do not have schools or are either shut down due to a lack of teachers. Not only their subjects but teachers should be taught about technology from time to time so that they can be flexible with their teaching method and create innovative material for students.
Teachers play the most important role in schools and hence, they should be given the best of class training. After all, they are shaping the future of the nation, the children. Teachers are often considered second parents.

5. Digital classes
Nowadays technology takes part in many things in our lives. We should be aware of it and follow accordingly. Many developing countries are bringing technology to classrooms. Digital classes are a trend nowadays and it helps students with their visual memory and help them learn better.
Students must be introduced to technology along with its benefits and losses. Computers can be the best start in terms of learning tech, there should be free computer skills to make a student IT literate.
We should accept that this is where our future lies and teaching techniques will make us get ahead in our education. We can use resources better which are available outside for students' help.
We all know we have been incepted in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. We are living in a tech era where we can't keep technology and education apart.
6. Education for everyone
Many areas of India lack in development. They don't have efficient sources or schools. We should expand our developmental zone and help students who are not able to gain education and have a better life.
Girl education is a major concern even though we have campaigns that are helping girls but still, mentality runs in minds. Increasing scholarships or rewards for education so that participation can increase.
Education should be for everyone. We can take education above inequality and give fair chances to everyone in society despite their income, gender, or age.
7. Providing resources
Not only is illiteracy the reason but parents forbid their child from school because of fewer resources and convenience.
Many students can not afford other bills of education besides fees, like books and transport. We can avail them of the e-library and that saves transport costs too. E-libraries can be convenient for students who live far away and have no money to buy books.
There should be facilities available so that they can take part in other activities, many schools don't allow other activities, or some just don't have them. Reading and learning shouldn't be the way to get an education.
The Indian education system has many changes and we are developing day by day and it is reaching out to many areas of the country. Government allowed education at any age and changed the system of teaching. There are always some causes to work on and India with a growing population has a long way to go.
