Jaipur, October, 2020: Amity University, Rajasthan, under the Fully Self Finance Scheme has been allocated a NCC unit by NCC Group Headquarters, Jaipur. A total of 80 seats have been allotted to NCC unit in which students will get admission based on first come first served.
NCC is the armed forces of youth wing and is one of the largest youth organizations in the world where discipline and leadership ability is trained at school, high school, and college level. The various activities in NCC inspires the young students to build their career in Army and are prepared in a way that they can face challenges in future. On passing NCC, cadets are awarded "A", "B" and "C" certificates.

Throwing light on the importance of NCC, Pro-vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain said, “The main objective of NCC is to have leadership qualities in all areas of life. It creates a pool of organized, trained, and motivated youth who can help in nation building”.
NCC Cadets are also given preference and get bonus marks in the recruitment process of the Government of India and the State. There are seats reserved for NCC Cadets where only selection is made based on medical and interview.
