About Gymnasium No. 20
Ufa City Bashkir Gymnasium was opened in 1970 as the first Bashkir school in the city of Ufa by the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Ufa City Council of Deputies of Workers of the Bashkir ASSR No. 35/23 dated September 1, 1970. Based on the Resolution of the meeting of the Innovation Council under the BIP KRO dated March 18, 1992, the petition of the Sovetsky District Executive Committee, the RONO, BSU, BSPI, the teaching staff of the school, the parents' committee of the school, the Board of the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan decided to liquidate General Education Secondary School No. 20 of the Sovetsky District of Ufa from July 1, 1992 and create the Ufa City Bashkir Gymnasium on its basis. In order to more fully meet the needs of the population in the upbringing and education of children in the Bashkir language, by Decree of the Mayor of the city of Ufa in the Republic of Bashkortostan No. 384 of March 9, 1995, a municipal educational institution was created - the Ufa City Bashkir Educational and Training Complex (Gymnasium - Kindergarten) on the basis of the Ufa City Bashkir Gymnasium on ul. Dostoevsky, 99a, and preschool educational institution No. 166 on ul. Tikhoretskaya, 4. Due to the fact that the complex was not put into operation as a gymnasium - kindergarten, by the Resolution of the Head of the Administration of the city of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan No. 1564 of April 30, 1999, the municipal educational institution "Ufa city Bashkir educational and training complex (gymnasium - kindergarten)" was renamed into Ufa city Bashkir gymnasium No. 20.
