SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Culinary Careers Program (C•CAP) - the workforce development nonprofit that empowers under-resourced high school students & adults to become the next generation of leaders in food and hospitality — is proud to announce the return of its highly anticipated Harvest Moon Feast on Friday, November 7, 2025, at The Phoenician's historic Jokake Inn in Scottsdale, Arizona. This year's event will honor Chef Mark Tarbell, a longtime board member and supporter of C•CAP and mentor to countless students and alumni.
"I'm honored to be recognized at this year's Harvest Moon Feast. C•CAP's work resonates with me because food has always been more than a career—it's been a community and a pathway. Supporting young culinary students and giving them the tools to thrive ensures the future of our industry stays vibrant and full of possibility. I'm thrilled to celebrate that mission and the incredible talent it nurtures," says honoree Chef Mark Tarbell.
The Harvest Moon Feast brings together the best of Arizona's food and hospitality community for an impactful evening of culinary excellence. Guests will enjoy a walk-around tasting of 30+ original dishes created by C•CAP Arizona high school students under the guidance of leading local chefs, including C•CAP alumni Peter McQuaid, Aaron Davis, Jasmin Smith, Jelani Port, and Jenna D'Agostino, among others. Each dish will compete for the title of crowd favorite, with the winning student team crowned at the end of the night.
The evening begins at 5:00 PM with a VIP reception featuring a specialty bar and exclusive tastings. Doors open for general admission at 6:00 PM, followed by live music by Nate Nathan and the MacDaddy-O's, silent and live auctions, and inspiring remarks from C•CAP students and leaders.
"We are thrilled to honor him at this year's Harvest Moon Feast and celebrate the next generation of Arizona's culinary leaders," says C•CAP Co-Executive Director, Jennifer Solomon. "Chef Mark Tarbell has been a champion for C•CAP students for decades," said Tanya Steel, Co-Executive Director of C•CAP.
Proceeds from the Harvest Moon Feast directly benefit C•CAP Arizona's 8,000 students across the state's high schools, providing them with career readiness training, scholarships, job opportunities, and mentorship to help them thrive in the food and hospitality industry.
