The NVS Recruitment Notification 2024 for the JNVs of Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal was released on July 03, 2024. The vacancies were not announced in the notification and the NVS application process ended on July 11, 2024.

Vacancy

NVS Recruitment Board has not yet announced the number of vacancies for the Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal NVS Recruitment 2024. However, we have provided the NVS vacancy details 2020 for the aspirants to refer to.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for NVS PGT Posts

• A PG program from Regional College of Education of NCERT OR From any other NCTE recognized university / Institute. Also, only those candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in total can apply.
• Having a B. Ed degree is not mandatory for those who have four years of integrated degrees from the Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institutes. OR
• Master’s Degree from a recognized University with 50% marks.

Eligibility Criteria for NVS TGT Posts

• Four years integrated degree from a Regional College of Education of NCERT with a minimum of 50% marks in the prescribed subject. Also, the aggregate score must not be less than 50% OR a bachelor’s honors degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates must have studied the required subject for a minimum of 2 years in their 3 years degree course.
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject.
• The candidate should have studied the requisite subjects in all three years of the degree.

Eligibility Criteria for NVS FCSA Posts

• B.E/ BCA/B.Tech/ Degree with Diploma, CTET.
• Candidates working in government or government-aided residential schools will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria for NVS Creative Teachers

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English Languages to teach in both languages.
• Teaching experience in a similar capacity in a residential school.
• Knowledge of Computer Application

Applications

• Candidates planning to get a teacher’s job through NVS recruitment had to submit the applications through the official website by July 11, 2024. The final selection will be made through online interviews.
• Post submitting the application form successfully, the deserving candidates will be called for a virtual interview. The timings related to the same will be made available by the department on the official site.
• Candidates applying for FSCA posts will be finalized based on the merit list. The list will be prepared based on the candidate’s qualifications and years of experience they have.
• No application will be taken in case sent at the Regional offices.
• Extra weightage will be given to those candidates who have cleared the CTET exam (Paper-II) for the TGTs post.
• Candidates had to apply through the official website of NVS before July 11, 2024.
• They had to make sure to apply for the desired post.
• They also had to choose their cluster center.
• The list of Custer centers was mentioned on the official website.

Note: No hard copy of the application was considered. Candidates applying for more than one post had to apply separately.

Steps to apply for Navodaya Vidyalaya jobs

• Refer to the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (www.navodaya.gov.in)
• Click on the Download option.
• After that click on TGT PGT Vacancy”.
• Fill the form from there along with submitting the required documents required.

Application Fee

• For PGT, TGT, Creative Teachers, and Faculty Cum System Administrators (FCSA), the application fee is INR 1200 for aspirants.
  But, candidates falling under SC/ST/PH category need not pay any application fee.
• As there is no option for fee payment through offline mode. Therefore, aspirants have to pay the fee through the online system only.
• Fee can be paid by Net Banking, Credit, or Debit cards.
• In fact, applications received without the application fee will be rejected. No objections to such rejection will be accepted. The fee will not be repaid in any case. It will neither be applied to any other exam or selection.
• All issues related to the reimbursement of excess payment, if any, are resolved by the NVS. Candidates are advised to ask for a refund of any excess payment only through the official site. No chargeback requests will be considered.

Admit Card

• The applicants must download the NVS Teacher admit card for the written exam from the official website. To generate a Hall Ticket from the official website, you’ll need your registration number and password.
• The board gives no travel allowance (TA) or any other compensation for appearing in the written test or interview.
• Candidates can not enter the exam hall unless they have a valid Admit Card. The Admit Card printout is only valid if the candidate’s photo and signature are legibly present on it.
• The admit card has important information concerning the candidate. For example, name, roll no. category, date and time of exam along with certain other details. Those willing to take the exam should check the NVS Exam Center, which is also present on their admit card.
• The candidates can download the admission card from the official NVS website. Then, the candidates must check if the information provided in the admit card is free of errors. Furthermore, the authority is not liable if a candidate loses any emails as a result of the candidate providing an invalid or incorrect email address.

NVS PGT Exam Paper Pattern

The written exam for the TGT posts for 2024 NVS recruitment has been canceled and only the virtual interview will be conducted.

Even though the NVS conducts a written exam for the PGT posts, it has been canceled for the NVS 2024 recruitment in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. The selection will be done on the basis of the educational qualification and the online interview.

Selection Process

• The final selection will be finalized after taking an interview through video conferencing.

• Candidates must mark their presence during the virtual interview. They can choose a place having good network connectivity so that they can give the interview more smoothly.
• No request for changes in the exam center or time of virtual interview will be taken forward.

Steps to Check NVS Result 2024

• First of all, log in to the official website.
• You need to mention your credentials including your name and user ID.
• After that click on the results tap.
• Mention your name and registration number to view your scores.
• Your scores will appear on the main screen.
• Save the results and take a hard copy of the same so that you can use it in the future, whenever needed.

Salary

Following are the details about the NVS 2024 Salary for different posts.

• For PGT post – INR 37,750 per month
• For TGTs post – INR 34,125 per month
• For FCSA post – INR 34,125 per month
• For Creative Teachers’ post- INR 34,125 per month
