• Visit the official website of NIACL.
• Click on the “New Registration” link.
• Fill up the application form with the required details.
• Scrutinize the Application Form once again before proceeding with the next step.
• Upload the photograph and the scanned documents as asked.
• Crosscheck the application form and click on “Submit”.
• Pay the registration fee online using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card, etc.

Syllabus

Job Profile

NIACL Assistant is a job at the clerical level. He/She has the responsibility of Data Entry Operations and assisting the AOs in designated sections. They are mainly responsible for Underwriting, Claims, and Accounts.

Underwriting:

• It is a data entry process.
• Involves acceptance of proposals.
• Involves signing/issuing of policies.
• Involves Computer use to enter, access, and retrieve financial data.

Claims:

• Involves legal/non-legal aspects of claims of Customers.
• Involves applying an insurance rating system.
• Calculating the amount of claim.
• Review insurance policy to determine coverage.
• Transmit claims for further investigation.
• Attach information to the claim file.

Accounts:

• Involves payments
• Preparation of balance sheets.
• Accounting transactions

Salary

• Initial payment of NIACL Assistant in hand is ₹23,500 in a metro city, along with several allowances like Newspaper, Leave, etc.
• As per NIACL Notification, they are eligible for a pay scale of ₹ 14435-840(1)-15275-915(2)-17105-1030(5)-22255-1195(2)-24645-1455(3)-29010-1510(2)-32030-1610(5)-40080.
• Several pieces of training are imparted to the candidates after the selection for learning about partial aspects of banking.

Cutoff

The NIACL Assistant cut off will be released once the recruitment exam has been conducted. The cut-off marks for the online test will be published on the official website. The cut-off will generally depend on variables such as the total vacancies for the position, the difficulty level of the test, the number of candidates applied, etc. As these variables are bound to differ each year the cut-off marks also vary

Admit Card

Admit Card for NIACL Assistant Exam is released 15-20 days before the actual Exam. For every stage, a separate admit card will be issued, and the candidate must download and take its printout before appearing for the exam.
