Madhya Pradesh Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET), is a state-level examination conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Education Board (MPPEB). Through MP TET candidates for the profile of primary school teaching at government schools are selected.

Eligibility Criteria 2024

Aspiring candidates need to meet certain eligibility criteria in order to apply for MP TET. These requirements include:

MP TET Age Limit

The candidate applying for MP TET Exam 2024 must meet the age criteria as prescribed. The age limitation for applicants is between 21 to 40 years old.

Educational Qualifications

Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher (1 to 5)
  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent, with not less than 50% of marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent, or
  • Graduate with 50% of marks and Bachelors of Education (B.Ed.), is considered for the arrangement as an instructor to teach classes 1 to 5, or
  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent, with not less than 45% of marks and a two years Diploma in Elementary Pedagogy according to National Council of Teacher Education (Recognition, Standards, and Procedures) Exchange 2002, or
  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% of marks and a four-year Bachelor's degree (B.El.D.) in Elementary Education, or
  • Higher Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% of marks and a two-year Diploma in Shiksha Shastra (Special Education), or
  • Graduation Degree and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent.
Eligibility criteria for Upper-Primary Teachers (6 to 8)

Candidates must possess a B.Ed Degree along with a score of 50% in graduation from a recognized Institute or University.
