The IBPS SO 2021 dates have not been announced yet. However, the application process is going to start in August 2021. Before this, IBPS SO 2020 Final result was announced on April 1, 2021.The IBPS SO conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit PO for 15 public sector banks in India. The recruitments will be made of three steps including Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview Process.While preparing for IBPS SO Exam, candidates can followKirtan Buhecha’s strategyto ace in 6 months.
Those candidates within 20 and 30 years, and have a graduation degree can apply for the IBPS SO 2021. The Application fees will be INR 600/- for all and sundry including some relaxation for certain categories. IBPS SO Eligibility
The IBPS SO eligibility criteria is different for recruiting candidates to different positions for which the candidates are selected through IBPS SO 2021 Exam. There are three parameters (citizenship, age limit and educational qualification) that a candidateneeds to fulfill to be eligible for IBPS SO 2021 Exam.
The Citizenship Criteria for a candidate to be eligible for IBPS SO 2021 exam is discussed below:

- A resident of India
- A subject of Nepal
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 and have planned to settle in India permanently
- A subject of Indian Origin migrated from Burma, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Namibia, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Vietnam
Educational Qualifications
IBPS SO recruits candidates for various posts like that of I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer etc. The educational qualification is different for all these different posts.1

IBPS SO Age Limit
A candidate is required to be of minimum 20 years to be eligible for IBPS SO exam. The maximum age limit is 30 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation by the Government of India.
The category wise age relaxation given to candidates for the post of IBPS SO is discussed below:

IBPS So exam pattern:
- The IBPS SO 2021 exam pattern for selecting candidates for Rajsabha Adhikari Scale I and Law Officer is same.
- The Exam Pattern for all the other posts is different from the exam pattern of Law Officer and Rajsabha Adhikari Officer.
- The Mains Examination will have just one section, i.e. of Professional Knowledge
- Only three sections will be asked in the Preliminary Exam of IBPS SO 2021 Exam.
- For Rajsabha Adhikari and Law Officer prelims sections asked are English Language, Reasoning and General Awareness.
- For other posts sections asked are of English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
- The score of Preliminary Exam will not be taken into consideration for the final selection. Cumulative score of Mains Exam and Interview process in the ratio of 80:20 will be taken into consideration for final allotment.
- There is a negative marking for wrong answers in both preliminary test and mains exam of IBPS SO 2021. One-fourth of the total marks will be deducted for the question marked wrong by the candidate

IBPS SO Exam Syllabus
As the IBPS Calendar 2020-21 and IBPS SO notification is released. While IBPS issues only the broad subjects, they can be further sub-divided into individual topics, based on the questions that have appeared in the exams over the past few years. The IBPS SO syllabus is divided into two parts:
IBPS SO Preliminary Exam Syllabus: This has four main sections of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language and General Awareness.
IBPS SO Mains Exam Syllabus: Asks questions just from the specialized course that a candidate is proficient in.

The first stage of IBPS SO is the Prelims Exam. The syllabus is quite different from rest of the Bank Exams.
