Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants from the age of 18 to 38 years can apply for the HTET 2021 exam. Here are the details on educational qualification for various posts:

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher

Candidates must have one of the following set of educational qualifications to apply for HTET Primary Teacher:

• Senior Secondary or its equivalent along with the 50% marks of the two-years Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

• Senior Secondary or any equivalent along with 45% or above marks of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Senior Secondary or any equivalent with 50% or above marks and passed or appearing in the final year of the 4 -year B.El.Ed course.
• Senior Secondary or equivalent along with the 50% or above marks and has already completed or appeared in the final semester of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*
• Completed Graduation or appearing in the final year of a 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Passed Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or completed Senior Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation with Hindi.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Trained Graduate Teacher

Candidates must have one of the following set of educational qualifications to apply for HTET Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) 2021:

• Completed Graduation in the applicable stream and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Passed Graduation in the applicable stream with at least 50% and completed or pursuing 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
• Graduation in the appropriate stream with 45% or above marks and completed or pursuing 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
• Passed Senior Secondary or any equivalent along with 50% or above marks and completed or pursuing the final semester of the 4- year B.El.Ed or Bachelor in Elementary Education.
• Senior Secondary or any equivalent with 50% or above marks and completed or appearing in the last year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
• Graduation in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

HTET Eligibility for Post Graduate Teacher

Here are the eligibility criteria for the aspirants who wish to apply for HTET Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):

• Must have completed Post Graduation on the concerned subject with 50% or above marks.
• Achieved a Bachelor of Education
• Must have completed Matrics with Hindi & Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation in Hindi.
• Must own a consistently good academic record.

Application Process

The application form for HTET 2021 is expected to start in the month of December 2021 on the official website. On the other hand, the application process for HTET 2020 has been closed.

HTET Application Form: Registration Part-I

• Visit the official website of HTET Exam - https://bseh.org.in/
• Click on the “HTET 2021 application form” link on the home page
• Before you fill in all the information, read all the instructions.
• Then fill in the mandatory fields such as the full name of the candidate, parents’ name, religion, gender, date of birth, a valid mobile number and email ID, communication and permanent address, and educational details, etc.
• Click on save and then click on the “submit” button. A provisional User ID & registration number will be mailed to the registered email address.

HTET Application Form: Registration Part-II

• In stage 2 of the application process, a recent passport size color photograph and a scanned copy of the signature and thumb impression of the applicant must be submitted as per the specifications.
• Candidates must pay the application fee to complete the registration process
• After the payment is done, take a printout of the completed application form of HTET 2021.

HTET Application Fee can be paid in the mode of online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

HTET Application Form: Required Documents

To complete the application process, candidates must submit the following documents in the mentioned format and specifications:

Admit Card

The HTET admit card for the exam will tentatively be released in January 2021 by the Board of Secondary Education- Haryana on the official website. The authorities do not send the HTET to admit cards via posts. All applied candidates must download the admit card by entering the log-in credentials.

Once the HTET admit card is released by the authorities on the official website, candidates will be able to download it. Candidates must carry the admit card along with valid proof such as Pan Card, Aadhaar Card, or Driving License.

• Visit the BUSH's official website
• Find the link to the HTET 2021 Admit Card on the home page and click on it.
• Enter the log-in credentials
• After logging in, the admit card will be displayed.
• Check all the details mentioned on the HTET admit card and download it for future reference.

Exam Pattern

HTET Exam Pattern changes depending on the level of the exam. There are a total of 150 questions for all three levels. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. Here are the key points of the exam pattern:

• The mode of the exam will be offline
• There will be MCQs (Multiple-choice Questions) asked in the exam.
• For each correct answer, +1 marks will be rewarded.
• The exam paper will be organized in both Hindi and English.

HTET Exam Pattern for Primary Teacher (Level 1)

The exam pattern for HTET Primary Teacher (Level 1) is for the candidates who have applied to teach from class I to class V. Here is the exam pattern of HTET Primary Teacher:

HTET Exam Pattern for Trained Graduate Teacher (Level 2)

The exam pattern for HTET Level 2 is designed for the candidates who applied for teaching posts of classes VI to VIII. Here is the exam pattern:

To teach Class IX to XII of the Schools under the Haryana Government, candidates must appear for Post-Graduate Teacher (Level 3). Here is the exam pattern of PGT posts of HTET 2021:

Syllabus

The authorities released the exam pattern and syllabus along with the official notification for the recruitment of various posts. The number of subjects candidates must appear for varies depending on the choice of posts which are given in the following table:

Selection Process

HTET selection process involves the stages mentioned below:

HTET online application: candidates willing to apply for HTET need to apply for the exam online. Candidates can select the levels as per their preference and eligibility.

HTET admit card: HTET admit card will be released one week before the exam. Admit cards for levels 1, 2, and 3 will be released separately on the official website of the HTET exam.

HTET written test: HTET written exam will have three papers, Paper - I, Paper-II, and Paper - III. Paper - I is for Primary Teachers (Classes I - V), Paper-II is for Trained Graduate Teachers - TGT (Class VI-VIII), and Paper – III is for Post Graduate Teacher (class IX-XII). HTET result: Candidates securing HTET cutoffs will be declared qualified in the HTET exam, they will be given an HTET qualifying certificate. The certificate will remain valid for seven years.

Result

The HTET result for the session of 2020-21 has already been released for Level 1, 2, and 3 on April 08, 2021, at the official website - http://www.bseh.gov.in/.

Along with the declaration of the result, the HTET certificate has also been issued online. On the other hand, HTET Answer Key 2020-21 has been released for Level 1, 2, 3 on January 04, 2021.

Candidates must remember that the weightage of the written exam is 80% and the personal interview carries around 20% weightage in case of recruitment.

Expected Cut Off

The HTET Cutoff is the same for all levels of the exam. The appeared candidates who have managed to secure the cutoff marks receive the HTET certificate. However, there are relaxations for the reserved categories which is mentioned below:
