About Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer(JLN)
This medical college was established in year 1965 and was run in the building of T.B. and Chest Diseases Hospital till 1967-68. Thereafter it was shifted to the present building in vicinity of the Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital, formerly known as Victoria Hospital.
At present, apart from the main buildings of college and hospital this college holds separate buildings for departments of T.B. and Chest diseases, Cardiology Urology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Drug De-addiction Centre and Radiotherapy situated nearby in a campus. Recently, the department of Gynae & Obst. has been shifted to a new building of Mother and Child Healthcare Hospital situated in a huge campus of 140 Bighas. A suitable hostel facility is also available within the campus , for undergraduate and post graduate students of this college.
