Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (also known as IIM-T or IIM-Trichy) ia a public graduate business school located at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the seven new Indian Institutes of Management the Indian government has set up during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. Inaugurated on January 4, 2011, it is the eleventh Indian Institute of Management in the country, and it is mentored by IIM Bangalore. Classes for the first batch began on June 15, 2011.
The former SEBI chairman M. Damodaran heads the board of governors while IIM-C faculty Prafulla Y. Agnihotri has been appointed director of IIM-Trichy.
IIM Tiruchirapalli is the eleventh IIM to be set up in india at Chennai. It has IIm Bangalore as its mentor institute and ths excellence is assured. The institute currently functions from NIT Tiruchirappalli, the permanent campus is taking shape on 172 acres of land on Trichy-Pudukottai highway, 12 km from Tiruchirappalli International Airport. Though it has been just a year of establishment the college has secured good summer placements for its students. The college provides following management programs:
