RITES Recruitment Exam Vacancy
The total number of vacancies in RITES for Graduate Engineers is 170 including reserved and unreserved ones. The organization has reserved a certain number of vacancies for the candidates belonging to the reserved category as per the governmentโs norms. RITES Recruitment Eligibility criteria
Dynamic candidates who want to become a part of RITES must fulfill the eligibility criteria as required by the company as below:
Educational qualifications:

All the applicants belonging to the General / EWS category and candidates belonging to the reserved category applying for unreserved posts must have at least 60% aggregate marks in their minimum qualifying degree and candidates applying for reserved posts must have at least 50% aggregate marks in their minimum qualifying degree.
The experience shall be calculated as on 1st Janurary 2026.
Age limits:
All the applicants applying for the engineering posts must also fulfill the age limit as stated by RITES in its official notification. The candidateโs age should not exceed more than 40 years (as of 1st Janurary 2026) i.e. candidates born on or after 1st November 1980 are eligible to apply for this post.

Candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned eligibility criteria and willing to apply for these posts may follow the following steps to submit their online application form:
- First of all, the individual must fill the application form available in the career section of the official website or may go follow this direct registration link.
- In the registration form, select the vacancy no. & name of the post you are applying for and fill up your basic details and hit the submit button.
- After registration, youโll receive your registration no. with password on your registered mobile number and email id.
- Now click on Candidate login and login using your registration details.
- Fill up the application form carefully and pay the application fees as applicable as per your category.
- Take a print-out of this filled application form along with the fee receipt.
RITES Recruitment Exam Pattern & Selection process
All the applications received shall be screened and shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test. Based on the performance of candidates in the written test, they will be called for a personal interview.
Final selection of applicants shall be done based on the following weightage parameters:
- Experience - 5%
- Written test - 60%
- Interview - 35% (Technical proficiency - 25% & Personality communication - 10%)
The aspirants will also have the option to choose the interview language i.e. Hindi / English. The appointment of selected applicants is solely dependent upon their medical fitness fulfillment as per the company's policy.
RITES Recruitment Exam 2026 Syllabus
The syllabus of the written test is not mentioned in the official notification by RITES, but it can be anticipated by analyzing previous yearsโ papers. The paper contains questions from 5 different subjects i.e. General English, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and concerned post related subject (i.e. Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).

During the application form youโre allowed to choose two preferred examination centers from the below-mentioned centers:

Admit Card
The notification of the Admit Card for the written test is not released yet by RITES, but it will soon be published on the website, a week or two before the written test.
The applicants are required to keep the self-attested copies of the following documents along with a copy of the application form with them during the time of personal interview:
- 2 recent passport size color photographs
- 12th Certificate (HSC) as the proof of date of birth.
- Certificates / Marksheets of all the educational qualifications (Xth, XIIth / Diploma (all semesters), Graduation (all semesters))
- Category Certificate in the prescribed format by Govt. of India (for reserved categories)
- ID proof & Address proof (Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card, etc)
- PAN Card
- For proof of their last Salary / CTC, the candidates shall have to submit their last Form no.16 / Salary slip / Earning Card / Appraisal letter / any other suitable document.
- Any other document in support of your candidature
- PWD Certificate as per the latest format (if applicable).

RITES Recruitment 2026: Salary & Remuneration
Pay, allowances, and perks for the post of Engineers at RITES are as follows:
