The SEBI Grade A Exam 2020 was held on January 17, 2024. On the other hand, the Phase II online examination was conducted on February 27, 2024.

Age Limit For SEBI Grade A Officer
A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as of February 29, 2020, i.e., the candidate must have been born on or after March 01, 1990.
Age relaxation will be given as per govt. norms.
Application
The candidate will find the registration and application link for the SEBI Grade A exam on their official website. You need to register first and once you get the application ID and password, you must log in once more to complete the next parts of the application.
Application Fees of SEBI Grade A 2024:
- The payment can be made by using only Debit Cards (Rupay/ Visa/ Master Card/Maestro), Credit cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets
- The mode of paying the application fees is online.
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
- Take a Print out if you feel required.
- Application fees vary from candidate to candidate as per the categories:

Exam pattern:
- SEBI Grade A Exam Pattern 2024
- For various posts, SEBI conducts 2 examinations: Phrase-I and Phase-II
- Phrase-I online screening examination consists of 2 papers, each paper of 100 marks.
- Phrase-II online examination also consists of 2 papers, each of 100 marks.
- Only the candidates who qualify for Phrase-I will be eligible to attempt Phrase-II of SEBI Grade A.
- The papers will be of multiple-choice questions.
- There will be negative marking for wrong answers.
- In the case of Phrase-I, ¼ of the marks assigned to each question will be dedicated to wrong answers.

Interview
The candidates who will be successful in Phase I and Phase II of SEBI Grade A Officer Recruitment will be called to appear for the Interview. Candidates equaling 3 times the number of vacancies shall be shortlisted, in order of merit, for Phase III i.e. the Interview.
The shortlisted candidate may opt for the interview either in Hindi or English. The weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in the interview shall be given a weightage of 15%.
Thus, the selection will be made on the marks secured in Phase II and Interview for the final selection for the candidates as a SEBI Grade A Officer
Job Profile
The candidates if selected in the SEBI Grade A as Assistant Managers will have to perform various job roles. The very reason why the board has kept a strict SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria to be followed. Though there are different departments in which a candidate will be placed after selection, some of the job responsibilities are discussed here. SEBI Grade A 2020: Salary Structure
The pay scale of Grade A manager is INR28150-1550(4)-343501750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4) -53600- 2000(1)-55600 (17 years). Taking into account allowances, the gross emolument scale is approx. Rs. 1, 07,000/- per month without accommodation and INR 73,000/- per month with accommodation.
The salary structure can be a bit confusing. To clarify the confusion the candidates are facing related to the salary structure of an Assistant Manager (Grade A), the following paragraph, and the mist will be cleared:
- In the first year, the SEBI Grade A officer basic pay will be INR 28,150/-
- These would be 4 annual increments of INR 1550/-
- So After 5 years, your basic pay would be INR 34,450/-.
- From the 6th to 12th year of your service (7 years) you will get an annual increment of INR1, 750/-.
- EB stands for Efficiency Bar.
- Then the next 4 annual increments would be INR1, 750/-. Thus, taking the Basic pay to INR 53,600/-.
- The next annual increment would be INR 2,000/- Which means the basic pay would be ₹55,600 at the end of the 17th year.

SEBI Grade A Exam Admit Card
The SEBI Grade A Phase II Admit Card Out! The phase 1 exam was conducted on 17th January 2024 and the result for the same was out on 28th January 2024. The successful candidates will now appear for the phase II exam. The SEBI Grade A Admit Card is released online by the IBPS. The candidates can download it between 5th to 27th February 2024.
- Admit Card is the most important document for any test, without which a candidate will simply be denied to appear in the examination. It proves to be important because it shows the identity of the applicant when appearing for the test.

Preparation
Quantitative Aptitude (Phase 1 Paper 1: around 20 marks)
- Revise the basic arithmetic lessons and data interpretation skills.
- Learn important formulae by heart and practice a lot of numerical questions based on them.
- Solve the maximum number of questions grading from easy to difficult questions.
Reasoning Ability (Phase 1 Paper 1: around 20 marks)
- Some of the topics needing thorough practice are inequality, blood relation, coding-decoding and other important topics. Focus your preparation on concepts from these topics.

SEBI Grade A Exam Results
The SEBI Grade A recruitment happens in two phases. The first phase is an Online Screening Test which is scheduled for 17th January 2024. The results of the Screening Test is released on 28th January 2024 The second phase, the Online Examination is scheduled for 27th February 2024 and the results will be given out after a few weeks.
