Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit
  • Maximum Age - 26 years
  • The upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Academic Qualification
  • The Academic Qualification to apply for the post of South Indian Bank Clerk exam 2024 is to qualify SSLC/higher secondary examination and Graduation with a minimum of 60% of marks from a recognised Board/ University. The details of educational Qualification are mentioned in the below points:
  • Passed 10th standard or SSLC from a recognised Board
  • Passed 12th standard or HSC from a recognised Board
  • Graduation with minimum 60% of marks under regular course from a recognised University.
  • Candidates who fulfil the above Educational qualification will be eligible to apply for South Indian Bank Clerk exam 2024. Candidates who have attended their Final Year/ Semester Examination of their Graduation and waiting for the results may also apply for the post on the condition that they should produce proof (final year/ semester mark list/ Provisional Certificate) of having passed the Graduation when called for Personal Interview.
  • Candidates securing CGPA/ Grade equivalent to 60% or more may also apply for the post of Probationary Clerk. At the time of application, the equivalent percentage should be mentioned.
- Nationality
  • The candidate has to be a citizen of India to apply for the SIB Recruitment 2024. The information will be updated as and when the detailed notification for 2024 is released.
- Experience

Having an experience is not an eligibility criteria for the posts announced under South Indian Bank Recruitment 2024.

Salary

As mentioned earlier, the SIB Clerk receives a basic salary of INR 11,765 per month. However, Dearness allowances are also given for each month along with the basic salary. The culmination of basic salary and dearness allowance becomes the monthly in-hand salary for SIB Clerk employees. The SIB Clerk 2024 in-hand salary is approximately around INR 12,000-INR 14,000 per month.

  • Step 5: Result will appear which will contain the Roll Number and Name of the Qualified Candidates. Search for your Roll Number by typing Ctrl+F.
