The minimum age to apply for the posts offered by KPTCL is 18 years and should not exceed:

• 35 years in case of General Merit candidates.
• 38 years in the case of Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, and IIIB candidates.
• 40 years in case of SC/ST and Category candidates.
• Relaxation in age must be given according to the organization’s rules.

• Now, the applicants should hit on “Brief Employment Notification for Recruitment to the posts of AEE (Electrical), AE (Electrical/Civil), Asst Account Officer, JE (Electrical/Civil), Assistant, Junior Assistant in KPTCL and ESCOMS” link.
• By clicking on the above-mentioned link, a notification will open up on your desktop. Read the notification carefully so that you do not miss out on important details.
• After reading the notification, fill online application form with the required details.
• If required upload scanned images of the signature and photograph. Also, check the file size that it accepts.

KPTCL Application Fees

The application fees is not the same for all the categories, it differs according to the different categories

• The candidates are supposed to pay Rs.500/- as the application fees if they belong to the following categories (General, Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB)
• The applicants should be paying Rs. 300/- if they belong to SC/ST categories in any of the post offices in the Jurisdiction of Karnataka.
• An additional amount of Rs. 15/- will have to be added as a service charge of the postal department.

Candidates shall be selected on the basis of their scores on the multiple-choice online aptitude test.
