KMML Eligibility Criteria

• Junior Operator Trainee: Diploma in Chemical Engg. /Degree in Chemistry with 60% marks from a recognized board/institute/University.
• Junior Boiler cum Utility Trainee: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and First Class or Second Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of competency/SSLC from a recognized board with ITI in the trade of Fitter and first Class or Second Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Proficiency.
• Junior Welder Trainee: 12th pass from a recognized board with ITI certificate in the trade of welder from a recognized board/institute/University.
• Junior Technician Machinist Trainee: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/SSLC with ITI in the trade of Turner/Machinist from a recognized board/institute/University.
• Junior Fitter Trainee: SSLC with ITI in the trade of Fitter from a recognized board/institute/university.

Age Limit

Step-wise procedure for applying to KMML Recruitment

• Visit the KMML official website: http://kmml.com
• Visit the KMML Careers tab/Latest news tab.
• After visiting the careers tab, they will lead you to the Media Center tab.
• From the media, the center tab selects the Advertisements option.
• Check for various roles of the trainee provided and download the form.
• Before filling the form, check your eligibility and verify if you satisfy the criteria.
• Take the print of the application form.
• Fill in the details appropriately and attach the photocopy of the required documents.
• The documents along with the application form must be sent to the postal address mentioned on the website.
• The envelope should be superscripted with the details of the role you are willing to apply for.

Note: Candidates willing to apply for KMML recruitment will have to visit the website and download the application form, and after filling the form the hard copy of the same shall be sent to the address mentioned below in the same format along with the required documents mentioned in the form.

The application form enclosed on the website requires certain particulars that should be kept handy while filling the application form. The particulars include:

• Name
• Age and Date of Birth
• Highest qualification with the class and total marks(%) obtained.
• Any previous experience’s details(if you have any)
• Relevant community certificate
• Affixing of the passport size photograph

KMML Application fee

Candidates belonging to the General/OBS category will have to pay a processing fee of INR Rs.300/-

Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be exempted from the application fee/examination fee.

KMML Exam pattern:

• The written exam consists of different sections which carry different weightage accordingly.
• The test is based on Multiple Choice Questions only.

KMML Exam Syllabus

The written exam consists of the following subjects:

• English
• General Knowledge/Awareness
• Logical Reasoning
• Mathematics
• IT
• Computer
• Mechanical core subjects- Thermodynamics, Boiler knowledge
• Electrical
• Civil

From each of these subjects, there are various topics that have to be kept in consideration while preparing for the exams.

English- Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence formation, Active-Passive sentences, Error finding, Error corrections General Awareness- Authors, General knowledge, History, Geography, Indian Economy, Budget

Mathematics- Time distance problems, Boats, and streams problems, Areas, Averages, Compound interest, Profit loss Discount, Number and ages, Probability, P&C problem

KMML Selection Process

The aspirants will get shortlisted on the basis of their performance in a written examination, followed by an interview.

Candidates shortlisted after the interview will have to go through the process of verification of the different documents that they have provided in the application.

KMML Salary Details

Following is the expected pay scale of candidates getting selected for the KMML jobs. The pay scale differs from post to post as the skills involved and job description is different.

KMML Training Programs

The candidates who are appointed as trainees will have to go through theoretical as well as practical experience on the job training as and when prescribed by the company authorities.

General Instructions:

• Some Universities/Institutes/Boards do not offer percentage (%) marks, instead, they provide with CGPA. In such cases, the conversion criteria mentioned by the University/Institute/Board have to be taken into consideration for converting CGPA into percentage marks. However, in any case, if the Criteria have not been specified, then the CGPA shall be multiplied by 9.5 to convert it to equivalent percentage marks and then the eligibility will be considered in accordance with the conversion of the marks done.
• Since there might be rotations of shifts in working which might include NIGHT shift as well, only male candidates need to apply.
• The candidates working in any Public Sector Undertakings, or in any autonomous bodies shall provide a NOC: No Objection Certificate from the concerned authorities and shall apply through a predefined channel.
• For proof of experience of the candidates already working elsewhere shall provide the appointment letter/the offer letter provided by the employer and the last payslip as a proof of experience. The letter of experience shall describe the DATE of joining as well as the DATE of relieving from the particular body.
• Caste certificates for the SC/ST shall be enclosed along with the application form during the time of submission.
• SC/ST candidates will be allowed due relaxations in the age as well as experience and will be given due preference.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to be able to speak, read and write MALAYALAM.
• Fee payment for the General/OBC category students has to be made with a Demand Draft(DD) of INR Rs. 300/- in the name of The Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. Payable at Chavara. The applicants who fail to provide a DD as mentioned will be solely responsible for the cancellation of their application.
• In due course of the selection process, if the candidature is found non-compliance, they stand solely responsible for their rejection.
• Since the working conditions at the KMML comply with the hazardous situations, handicapped candidates should consider their compatibility with the same and apply accordingly.
• The Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. (KMML) shall not be responsible for any delay in the postal transfer for the submission of the application after a given specific period. Applications received after the specified time shall not be considered.
• The authorities do not ask for any sort of original documents and hence no original certificates shall be submitted along with the application form. The KMML authorities will not be responsible for the loss of any such documents.
• Candidates who obtained their Diploma through Lateral Entry after 31.01.2014 from the institution outside Kerala are not qualified as per G.O(MS) No.455/2014/H.Edn dated 09.07.2019 otherwise possessing equivalency certificate from Govt. of Kerala.

• Select the link for the result for the year that you have appeared in.
• The result can be searched either according to the center or according to the roll number.
• Check if you are qualified or not by going through the cut-off the current year.
• Click on send it and download the result if you are qualified for the next interview round.
