Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or Certificate Course in the related field or Graduation or Post Graduation in related discipline from a recognized University.
• The stenographer should have a typing speed of a minimum of 35 words per minute.
• Candidates applying for driver post should have a Valid HGV /PSV endorsed Driving License

Application

The application fee is Rs. 350/- for all candidates. online mode only.

Exam Pattern 2023

• The exam will be an OMR based Objective Type Questions examination.
• All the questions will be set only in English.
• The exam will be for a total of 100 marks.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer in the marking scheme.
• The duration of the exam will be 2 hours

• Junior Assistants are the support staff in various departments. They help higher authorities in day-to-day office and fieldwork. Their primary role entails dispatch, typing, recording and indexing of files, preparation of statements, file registering etc. They are often asked to do other work by higher authorities. Junior Assistant in the accounts and administrative field will have more professional and domain-related work.

JKSSB Patwari Job Profile

• Maintaining the land records of the designated region (tehsil) in the state.
• Maintaining the records of sharecroppers and other land transfers conducted between various parties.
• Supervising all the purchase and sale of the land happening in the area the candidate is posted as a Patwari.
• Maintaining and updating the records of the land ownership of the area.
• Conduct surveys in the areas regularly.
• Supervising and collecting the land taxes of the area.

Cut Off

To check or download the JKSSB Class IV Cut Off, follow the steps:

• Step 1: Go to the official JKSSB website on any internet browser i.e. http://www.jkssb.nic.in/
• Step 2: Locate the link for the JKSSB Class IV Cut Off 2023 under the “What’s New” tab, and click on it.
• Step 3: The cut-off marks for the JKSSB Class4 written exam will be displayed on the screen in the form of a PDF.
• Step 4: Click the “Download” button on the PDF to download and save the JKSSB Class IV Cut Off for future references.

Admit Card

The admit card is normally published one week before the exam.

Preparation

• Dedicate 6-7 hours a day to study for the exam.
• Start the preparations at least four months in advance.
• To increase focus while studying, take breaks at regular intervals.
• Go through solved question papers from previous years’ examinations.
• Read newspapers regularly to stay updated about current affairs.
• Lead a healthy and balanced routine, do not exert yourself.

Result

As per the Jammu and Kashmir Service selection board written exam result students will be called for the document verification.
