Eligibility

The candidate must fulfill the following four criteria to be eligible for the Haryana Police Constable 2026 Exam:

  • 1) Nationality/ Citizenship

    Candidates must be the citizen of India.

  • 2) Education Qualification (As of 01-12-2020)

    The candidate must have passed 10+ 2 (Senior Secondary) from any recognized School Board /Institution for all the categories.
    Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher education.

  • 3) Age limit (01-12-2020)

    The candidate must be 18 Years to 25 Years (On the first day of the month in which the applications are invited for recruitment of Constable i.e on 01-12-2020). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 01-12-1995 and later than 01-12-2020. The upper age limit as prescribed above will be relaxable only in the following cases: -

For the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Backward Class, Economically weaker section (EWS) Categories relaxation in upper age limit of 5 years shall be given as per Govt. The instruction is issued from time to time.

Age Maximum: 27 Years
Minimum: 21 years
Educational Qualification The candidates must have completed Graduation. They must also have studied Sanskrit/Hindi at least up to Matric level.
Nationality Must be a citizen of India
Number of Attempts Until Crossing the Maximum Eligible Age
Experience No prior experience is required.

The Online Application Fee for Haryana Police Constable 2026 exam is different for different categories.

The fee is exempted for SC/BC/EWS candidates of Haryana State.

Haryana Police Physical Screening Test (PST)

Candidates qualified in Knowledge Test will be called for PST. Candidates, equalling seven (07) times the number of vacancies in each category shall be declared to have qualified the Knowledge Test (KT).

The candidates who have qualified in Knowledge Test shall be put to a Physical Screening Test, which would be only qualifying in nature, to judge their physical fitness and endurance. The standards prescribed for this test shall be as under:-

Haryana Police Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

The candidates who have qualified for the Physical Screening Test shall have to undergo a Physical Measurement Test.

Chest โ€“ 83 Centimetre (un-expanded) to 87 centimetre (expanded) with expansion of 04 Centimetre (minimum). 81 Centimetre (un-expanded) to 85 centimetre (expanded) with expansion of 04 Centimetre (minimum) for reserved category.

Height for Female Candidates

General Category โ€“ 158 cm

Result

  • The result for Haryana Police Constable 2026 exam will be released once the examination for the same has been conducted. Candidates can check their results using their roll number and name.
  • Those who qualify for the cut-off marks will appear for the next level of the exam.
  • After the next round of examination i.e., PEMT authorities release the final result. The final selection list or the merit list will be published on the official website of HSSCi.e. hssc.gov.in.
  • The candidates will be selected for the vacant posts on the basis of their marks which will be obtained from the examination as well as physical and medical tests completely.
