Notification

The DSSSB has so far released three notifications for the DSSSB recruitment 2021. Have a look at the details of these notifications below:

  • Advertisement No 01/21:The first DSSSB notification 2021 (Advertisement No 01/21) was released on March 4, 2021. The DSSSB announced a total of 1809 vacancies for the posts of TGT, Special Educator (Primary), Pharmacist, Technical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Assistant Chemist, Assistant Engineer, Personal Assistant, Draftsman, Junior Engineer, Security Supervisor, Scientific Assistant, Programmer, and others. These vacancies will be filled in the Delhi Jal Board, New Delhi Municipal Council, Directorate of Ayush, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board, and other organizations.
  • Advertisement No 02/21:The second DSSSB notification was released on May 12, 2021, through the release of Advertisement No 02/21. The second notification of 2021 seeks to fill 7236 vacancies for the posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Assistant Teacher, Jr Secretariat Assistant, Patwari, and others.
  • Advertisement No 03/21:The DSSSB released the 03/21 notification on May 27, 2021, for recruitment of 5807 vacancies of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in the Directorate of Education under the postcodes 49/21 to 57/21.

The application process under these three notifications has concluded successfully. The exam dates for these posts have been announced by the board.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of DSSSB recruitment 2021 varies depending on the announcement of the vacant posts. The eligibility criteria are mentioned as per the advertisement number 02/21:

  • For TGT posts, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree related to the subject and a degree/diploma in training education.
  • For Assistant Teacher Primary, the applicants must have a diploma in elementary education or a bachelor’s degree with a diploma in elementary education.
  • For Assistant Teacher Nursery, the aspirants must pass the Class 12 level exam with NTT training or B. Ed exams.
  • For Counselors, the candidate must hold a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in psychology or applied psychology.
  • For Head Clerk, the candidates who have already completed a bachelor’s degree with computer proficiency are eligible to apply.
  • For Patwari, Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized University.

Application

DSSSB 2021 Application Form has been released on May 25, 2021, for the TGT, Assistant Teacher Primary, Assistant Teacher Nursery, Counselors, Head Clerk and Patwari. On the other hand, the DSSSB application form for TGT posts will continue till July 03, 2021, which has been started on June 04, 2021.

Interested applicants can apply online at delhi.gov.in after the application window is activated. The DSSSB application form will not be accepted via any other modes. Here are the primary stages of the application form:

  • Step 1: At the official website, click on “Registration Link’ and fill up the required information.
  • Step 2: Then upload the prescribed documents as per the size.
  • Step 3: Pay the DSSSB application fees via SBI e-pay.
  • Step 4: Download the filled application form and print a copy for future reference.

Admit Card

DSSSB admit card 2021 will tentatively be released in August 2021. Candidates will be able to download the DSSSB admit cards by entering the application number and date of birth on the official website.

On the other hand, the admit card for DSSSB PGT 2020 exam has been released and the exam will be held on June 25, 28, 29, and 30, 2021.

Here are the steps to download the admit card-

  • Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the link available for admit card.
  • Step 2: Enter the credentials such as Application/roll number, Date of birth, and Security code (as visible on the screen).
  • Step 3: Click on ‘Click to Generate e-Admit Card’.
  • Step 4: Check the visible information and download DSSSB admit card in PDF format.
  • Step 5: Print a copy of the DSSSB admit card for future reference.

Exam Pattern 2021

The DSSSB has released the 13043 vacant posts for TGT, in the following section of the article, the exam pattern for TGT has been discussed:

  • The exam will be in offline mode.
  • It consists of 200 questions making a total of 200 marks.
  • There is a negative marking of 0.24 for each wrong answer.
  • 1 mark is rewarded for each right answer.

Selection Process

The DSSSB selection process is comprised of three stages- One Tier exam, Two-Tier exam, and Skill Test. The Two-Tier exam and Skill Test stages might not be valid for recruitment to some posts.

One Tier Exam: The exam contains objective-type questions from General Awareness, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, and English/ Hindi Language & Comprehension.

Two Tier Exam: The exam is further divided into two stages - Tier 1 and Tier 2:

  • The Tier 1 exam is an objective test containing multiple-choice questions
  • The Tier 2 exam is a descriptive test related to the subject chosen by a candidate or qualification of a candidate
  • Skill Test: A skill test (sometimes also called an endurance test) is an interview round taken as per the job requirement.

Result

Cut Off

Salary Details 2021

The DSSSB recruits the various employees of Group “B” and Group “C”. The Group “B” posts receive Rs.35,000 - Rs.55,000 per month. On the other hand, the employees under Group “C” get a salary of around Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month.

Along with the DSSSB Salary, every employee receives several allowances such as HRA, Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA), Travel Allowance (TA), Maternity Leave, of at least 6 months to Women, and Medical Allowances.
