Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria is a basic set of guidelines in terms of age, educational qualification, nationality. Candidates should complete these parameters so that they become eligible for the exam. Eligibility of Canara Bank PO is given below:

Nationality:

• Candidates should citizen of India or
• Citizen of Nepal or Bhutan or
• A Tibetan refugee who came India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling in India
• A person of Indian birth in Indian who has relocated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka ,Burma, East African countries like Ethiopia Kenya, Malawi, United Republic Of Tanzania, Zambia,Uganda, Zaire and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Candidates must make sure that the Indian Government has issued them an eligibility certificate.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should have a degree with a minimum of 60% marks and 55% for SC /ST /PWD or equivalent grades in any discipline.
• Candidates must have knowledge of both operating and working on a computer. Candidates who do not have the same should do the same within 6 months from the date of joining the bank
• Applicants must know how to speak and write in Hindi

Age limit:

Exam Pattern 2021

The online objective test of the Canara Bank PO 2021-22 will have an equal number of questions from subjects such as Reasoning, Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. There will be 50 questions from each of these sections totalling 200 questions each carrying one mark. The details of the Canara Bank PO exam pattern are given below:

Group Discussion and Interview:

The total marks allotted for Group Discussion and Interview are 50. The minimum qualifying marks for the test is 40% for General Candidates (35% for SC / ST/ OBC / PWBD candidates).

Final Selection:
