Arunachal Pradesh Public Services Commission is an organization that has been appointed by the State Government of Arunachal Pradesh to conduct Civil Services Examinations. The commission conducts offline written examinations and personal interviews for various posts across the state.
The APPSC stands for Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. The APPSC is the Civil Services examination for the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
The exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various job positions in the state. The commission conducts the exams in two stages, APPSC Prelims and Mains. There is also a stage of personal interviews. The maximum marks for the prelims stage are 200 for each paper and for the mains the marks range from 250 to 300. Applications for the examination are to be submitted online. For certain posts, physical fitness tests are also held.
The APPSC 2024 has not released the official notification for registrations and exam dates. In the previous year, the mains concluded in February 2024. APPSC 2024 dates will be released as soon as the previous year’s process ends.

Arunachal Pradesh PSC Eligibility Criteria
Arunachal PSC recruitment is done based on certain eligibility criteria. All candidates must meet the Commission’s setlist of criteria. Only if the candidate meets all criteria will then he will be allowed to take the prelims examinations. The applicant should be a citizen of India.
The details regarding the criteria are as below.
Arunachal PSC Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
The minimum age limit of the individual should not be less than 21 years. Also, the maximum age allowed is 33 years on the date of the Arunachal PSC notification release. The maximum age limit is relaxed in the following cases:
- Relaxation of 5 years for an Arunachal Pradesh ST candidate.
- Relaxation of 3 years for individuals working in defense, disabled during hostility with a foreign nation, or is from the disturbed area. In all such cases, the individual has been released from duty.
- Relaxation of 8 years for APST category defense personnel disabled during hostility with a foreign nation or in a disturbed area and was released from work consequently.
- Relaxation of 10 years for PwD category students. For APST PwD students, the age limit is relaxed by 15 years.
APPSC Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
- The candidate must be a graduate and possess a degree from a UGC-recognized university.
- Students who have taken their final year examinations and are waiting for results can also apply.
- For Police department job posts, there are physical standards to meet. The physical standards can be viewed from the official website.
Arunachal Pradesh PSC Application Process
Arunachal Pradesh public service selection has an online application procedure. The complete step-by-step process is as follows.
- Applications are to be submitted online from the official website, www.appsc.gov.in
- Find the link to ‘Apply Now. Read through all instructions carefully.
- Register using a valid email id and phone number. Both credentials should be active to receive further notifications.
- Fill up the application form. Upload and scan necessary documents in said format and size.
- Pay the application fees online using credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and net banking.
- Download the payment receipt and submit the application form.

Arunachal Pradesh Public Services Commission releases the admit card for its Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Examination 2024, a week or so before the actual exam is being conducted. One can access it using the registration credentials. Candidates must download the admit card and keep it handy. No student will be allowed entry into the examination hall without an admit card.

The exam pattern for the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam 2024 is going to be two-tiered. The first round is called APPSC 2024 Prelims and it has two papers. Arunachal Pradesh PSC Expected Cutoff
Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission exam has not released APPSC 2024 cutoff. The commission releases the minimum cut-off each candidate has to meet after each examination stage concludes.

Arunachal Pradesh APPSC Prelims Exam:
The initial stage for the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services examination is a preliminary exam. The exam consists of two papers. The first paper is a General Studies test while the second paper consists of Aptitude questions like Comprehension, Interpersonal Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Abilities, Decision Making, Mental Ability, Numeracy. The total marks of both papers are 200 marks each which is to be completed over 2 hours.
Arunachal Pradesh APPSC Mains Exam:
After qualifying for the prelims stage exam, applicants can take the mains. The mains consists of seven papers which are a mix of descriptive and essay-type questions. The duration of the papers is 3 hours. Also, the total marks of all the papers range from 250 to 300. For mains, candidates also have to choose 2 subjects as their elective papers from 27 subjects. Arunachal PPSC Interview:
Applicants who are able to pass both the preliminary and the mains stages of examinations are invited for a personal interview round. The interview is held to check if the candidate is a fit for the job.
Aspirants will be asked questions regarding general knowledge and awareness topics. The full mark for the interview part is 275. A final score is assigned based on the marks obtained at both written tests and the personal interview round. A merit list is then put up on the official website.
Arunachal Pradesh APPSC Medical Examination:
A medical examination or a physical fitness test is held for certain job positions. For jobs in the Civil Services and the Police department candidates have to meet all set physical standards. Factors that are checked are height, weight, eyesight, etc. The tests held are 1600 meters(for men) and 100 meters (for women) run, long jump, high jump, obstacle run for men, etc.
Arunachal Pradesh PSC Pay Scale
The salary range for various posts advertised under the Arunachal PSC vacancies notifications differs. For example, the salary range for Assistant Engineer positions in Civil and Electrical is INR 56,100 to INR 1,77,500. The full salary range across all job positions at APPSC is INR 35,400 to INR 1,77,500. However, all positions have certain benefits and perks.
