As per the official notification, the Andhra Pradesh Police Department will recruit the candidate’s total of 13,000 vacancies for Police Constable in Andhra Pradesh.

Now, all the candidates are waiting for APSLPRB Police Bharti Notification and application for the start and last date. The application process will be started very soon. The AP Police Recruitment Board has not yet application process started but will be declared very soon. The Andhra Pradesh Police Bharti application form is expected to be started in the month of July 2024.

Exam Centers

The Exam Centers for the AP Police Recruitment are held in four different zones in the state of Andhra Pradesh. You will be assigned a center in any of the four zones. You will have a choice to select the preferred zone during registration. However, the decision is in the hands of the AP Police.

  • Prelims are the qualifying exam.
  • You will only be able to attempt the other parts of the recruitment if you clear Prelims.

AP Police Recruitment PET

For the AP Police Recruitment 2024 Physical Efficiency Test, the candidate has to complete a set of physical tasks within the allotted time given. This varies with each post. There will be relaxations for Women, Ex-Servicemen, and those with reservations. The usual Events in the Physical Efficiency Test are as follows -

Male candidates will be scored as per their performances in the above-mentioned events. The Physical Efficiency Test usually carries a weightage of 100 marks. For certain posts, the Physical Efficiency Test is qualifying in nature. Before being able to attempt the Physical Efficiency Test, the candidate has to clear the Physical Measurement Test or PMT. To clear PMT, the candidate has to fit the eligibility criteria for the posts in question.

A. The prelims paper ranges from 10th to 12th level as it is a qualifying exam only. The Mains paper however will be Graduation level. The questions asked will be what is expected of a well-educated person without any specific specialization.
