The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that the Class 10th Result 2024 will not be announced on May 1, contrary to a viral notice circulating. CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta confirmed that results for both Class 10th and 12th will be declared in May, with last year's results released on May 12th. Students can access their results on cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Passing criteria require scoring at least 33% in all subjects.. Misinformation is rampant as a fake notice regarding the release of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 results 2024 gains traction on social media. The notice falsely claims that the results will be unveiled today, May 1. However, it's crucial to note that there has been no official confirmation from the CBSE Board regarding the Class 10 result declaration date. Students are strongly advised to await the official announcement and refrain from relying on unverified sources.
The circulating fake notice is remarkably detailed, containing all the elements typically found in an official CBSE result circular, including the result date, availability, passing criteria, and instructions regarding the collection of original marksheets. To add an air of legitimacy, the notice even features a forged signature purportedly from CBSE examination controller, Sanyam Bharadwaj.
This isn't the first instance of such deceit. In 2020, a similar forged letter emerged, prompting CBSE to issue a clarification. That counterfeit letter bore a forged signature of CBSE's director, Joseph Emmanuel.
The eagerly awaited CBSE Class 10 and 12 results for 2024 are on the horizon. Anticipated to be unveiled in the first week of May, students can expect the board authorities to announce the specific date and time for the CBSE Result 2024 declaration. Once released, students can access their results conveniently via the board's official website, results.cbse.nic, as well as through cbseresults.nic. Additionally, they can utilize the SMS facility and DigiLocker for result retrieval.
With a staggering 39 lakh students registered for the CBSE Board exams 2024, the scale of anticipation is palpable. The Class 10 exams spanned from February 15 to March 13, while the Class 12 examinations were held from February 15 to April 2. Both examinations took place during a single session, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
