UP NMMS Result 2024: Scholarship of Rs 12,000 Annually for Selected Students in Classes 9 to 12.
The UP NMMS result is presented as a merit list showcasing the selected candidates. This district-wise merit list of provisionally chosen students will be accessible on the official website.
Those selected will be granted a scholarship of Rs 12,000 annually, supporting their studies from Class 9 to 12. Eligibility for this scholarship scheme extends to students currently enrolled in Class 8 within government, government-aided, or local body council schools.
Moreover, students are eligible for the scholarship provided their annual family income does not exceed Rs 3,50,000.
Details included in the UP NMMS merit list encompass the roll number, candidate's name, father's name, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, marks achieved in both the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) papers, total marks, and rank of selected candidates.
The UP NMMS examination for the academic year 2023-24 was held on November 5, 2023.The examination conducting authority published the NMMS UP answer key on November 8, 2023.
To qualify for the UP NMMS scholarship exam, students needed to achieve a minimum aggregate of 40% marks in both the MAT and SAT papers. Moreover, candidates were required to secure a minimum score of 55% or an equivalent grade in their Class 8 examination to be eligible for consideration. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students were granted a 5% relaxation in the minimum passing marks criteria.
