What is REET Exam?
REET (Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher) or RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan annually for the recruitment of primary and upper primary teachers.
The full form of REET is "Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers".
REET New Exam Dates out and it will most likely take place on 14th and 15th May 2022. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Gehlot has confirmed this through a Tweet. You can read below for further information about REET Exam Date 2021-2022:
Notification
While the announcement regarding the REET 2022 exam was made by the chief minister on his official Twitter handle, an official notification regarding the same is being awaited.
Vacancies
As mentioned in the above tweet the total number of vacancies is approximately 32000+. Chief Minister Gehlot, also mentioned in his official Tweet that the REET 2022 exam will also be recruiting special teachers, as part of its recruitment drive this time.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the REET 2021 exam, you must fulfill the below-given REET eligibility criteria:
For Primary Teachers, candidates are required to have Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks along with appearing or passed in the final year of two-year Diploma (BSTC/BTC) in Elementary Education or Graduation along with appearing or passed in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education to apply. B.Ed. holders are not eligible for L1.
For Upper Primary Teachers, candidates are required to complete Graduation with at least 50% marks and pass 1-year or appearing in 2 years B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent qualification to apply.
States other than Rajasthan have a reservation of 5% of total vacancies.

Duration of Test- 2:30 hours
Maximum Marks-150 No negative marking
Section 1: Child Development & Pedagogy (30 marks)
Section 2: Language 1(Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, Gujarati) (30 marks)
Section 3: Language 2(Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, Gujarati)(30 marks)
Section 4: Mathematics (30 marks)
Section 5:EnvironmentalStudies(30 marks)
Duration of Test- 2:30 hours
