Nursing aspirants using an AI-based study planner attempted 42% more mock tests and solved 98% more practice questions than other learners on the platform in August 2026, according to an analysis by nursing education platform NPrep.
The analysis compared the study patterns of learners who used NPrepโs AI Planner with those who did not. AI Planner users solved an average of 468.2 questions during the month, compared with 236.8 among other learners. They also attempted an average of 20.54 mock tests, against 14.51, and spent 15.1 hours watching video lectures, compared with 8.2 hours.
NPrep said its AI Planner creates a day-wise study schedule based on the time available before an examination and adjusts the plan according to a learnerโs progress. The tool uses methods such as spaced repetition and active recall to structure preparation.
The companyโs analysis also looked at the study behaviour of paid learners around their first mock test. Among those tracked for 30 days before and after the test, 86.8% recorded a significant change in their study activity.
Average QBank questions solved by these learners rose from 44.6 in the 30 days before their first mock test to 229.6 in the following 30 days, a 415% increase. Their average time spent on video learning rose from 2.1 hours to eight hours, an increase of 281%.
NPrep also compared learners who qualified for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) with those who did not. According to the analysis, qualifiers solved an average of 2,541.2 QBank questions, compared with 739.9 among non-qualifiers.
The platform said learner activity has also increased over the past year. Average mock-test attempts rose from 23.6 to 44.2 per learner, while the average number of QBank questions solved increased from 833.5 to 956.5.
โAI in education should not simply mean putting a chatbot in front of a student,โ said Dr Prince Kaushik, founder and CEO of NPrep. He said AI tools should help learners plan their preparation and decide what to study next.
NPrep currently has more than 2.2 lakh learners, with about 84% coming from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, according to the company. It said learners have solved more than 6 crore questions on the platform. In July 2026, about 67 lakh questions were solved, three times the number recorded in July last year.
Founded in 2024, NPrep provides learning and career resources for nursing students and professionals preparing for competitive examinations. The platform has raised $1.5 million in seed funding, led by Lumikai, with participation from All In Capital, Velo Partners, DSP Group Family Office and angel investors.
