Program Overview
The Online Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two-year postgraduate programme divided into four semesters. It is designed to develop advanced technical knowledge and practical skills in computer applications, software development and modern information technology.
The curriculum covers key areas such as Object-Oriented Programming using C++, Operating Systems, Computer Organization and Architecture, Discrete Mathematics, Python Programming, Data Structures, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems, Web Technology, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing. The programme concludes with a Capstone Project, allowing students to apply their technical knowledge to a practical project.
The programme follows a Live + Recorded learning model, providing flexibility through interactive lectures and recorded content. Students also receive 1-on-1 personalised mentorship, access to an integrated LMS and e-library, and job assistance to support their academic and professional development.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree.
OR
Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B. Voc./ etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
(for students having no Mathematics background compulsory bridge course will be framed by the respective University/ Institution and additional bridge courses related to computer subjects as per the norms of the concerned University).
