Sadhguru, born Jagadish Vasudev, is an Indian yogi, mystic, author and public speaker. He is the founder of the Isha Foundation, a volunteer-run organisation that focuses on individual wellbeing, yoga and inner transformation.
According to his official biography, Sadhguru's work has taken him to global forums including the United Nations World Headquarters and the World Economic Forum, where he has spoken on subjects ranging from spirituality and wellbeing to leadership and social development.
Isha Foundation's work includes Isha Yoga programmes as well as initiatives in education, environment and rural upliftment. The foundation describes its broader mission as raising human consciousness through individual transformation.
Sadhguru also challenges the idea that success means staying ahead of everyone else.
According to his published teachings, success is about using oneself fully and exploring one's potential, rather than simply competing with others. He says that a person should not be obsessed with becoming successful, but should instead focus on making themselves capable and allowing that capability to find expression.
This shifts the focus from an external scoreboard to personal effectiveness.
