VIBGYOR schools in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai achieve 100% results in ICSE

• Saumya Jain topped at VIBGYOR High-Goregaon, with 99.8%
• Anvita Bharpilalia topped at VIBGYOR High- Malad East, with 99.4%
• Parth Gupta topped at VIBGYOR High-Airoli, with 97.8%

Mumbai, July 24th, 2021: VIBGYOR High-Goregaon West, VIBGYOR High-Malad East and VIBGYOR High-Airoli have achieved 100% results in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) evaluation conducted by Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). 

At VIBGYOR High-Goregaon, Saumya Jain with 99.8%; Avantika Kumta, Siddh Doshi, Pratham Deora, and Samridh Saha with 99.6% each; and Kanishk Shah topped with 99.4% respectively.

At VIBGYOR High- Malad East, Anvita Bharpilalia with 99.4%; Keshav Joshi, Anchita Singh and Agnivesh Dutta, with 98.6% each;  and Visheshta Jain, with 98.4%, emerged as toppers.

At VIBGYOR High-Airoli, Parth Gupta, Nirvana Das and Suma Acharya topped with 97.8%, 97.6% and 97% respectively.

Board examinations were cancelled this year, due to the second wave of COVID-19, and alternative evaluation methods were adopted by the various boards. Accordingly, ICSE results were calculated as an average of students’ the Grade 10 internal assessment scores and Grade 9 scores. 

Congratulating the students on their brilliant performance despite the challenges, Kavita Sahay Kerawalla, Vice Chairperson, VIBGYOR Group of Schools, said, “With the closure of physical classes last year due to the lockdown, students had to adjust to an entirely new education landscape and a changed lifestyle. Prolonged restrictions on social interactions and uncertainty about exams also contributed to mental stress, creating yet another challenge for them.
