Semester 1 builds the foundation inย communication, information technology, web programming and multimedia tools.
- Communication Skills:ย Communication theory, verbal and non-verbal communication, speaking, reading, comprehension, report writing and professional communication.
- Fundamentals of Information Technology:ย Computer hardware and software, operating systems, networks, Internet, programming concepts and IT applications.
- New Media, Internet and Programming Web:ย Internet services, HTML, web pages, tables, forms, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML and website creation.
- Multimedia Tools & Techniques:ย Photo editing, image resolution, colour models, layers, vector and raster graphics, drawing tools, effects, bitmaps and audio concepts.
