About Uka Tarsadia University

Uka Tarsadia University is established under Gujarat Private University (Amendment) Act No. 25 - 2011 Government of Gujarat. And it is also approved under section 22 of UGC Act 1956. Bardoli Pradesh Kelavani Mandal established the Uka Tarsadia University in 2011 with the help of generous donation from B.U. Patel, USA. The University offers many academic programs across the disciplines of Management, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, Commerce and others. The University has two campuses such as Gopal Vidyanagar Campus and Kalyanji Education Academy.

Bardoli Pradesh Kelavani Mandal is a group of devoted veterans in the field of education and established in 1960 with the objective of imparting higher education to the tribal and rural areas surrounding Bardoli. Bardoli Pradesh Kelavani Mandal has proved its merit by successfully running many under graduate and post-graduate courses. Today, BPKM continues with tradition of training young minds and finding solutions to addressing challenges of the future.

Hostel Facilities - The University has the campus hostel which is a three storied building. It has a capacity for accommodating 240 students and the rooms are well furnished and have excellent facilities required for a student. The University has another hostel at Bardoli, for the Girl Students. It houses 100 girls in three buildings.

Library Facilities - UTU has a well-equipped library with domestic and international journals / magazines and latest textbooks and reference books. The Institute library is also a member of DELNET and J-Gate, which are e-gateway to online publications.

Canteen Facilities - The University canteen provides best environment and offering delicious foods.

Bus Facilities - The institute provides its own bus facility from Bardoli to college campus at convenient timings covering all major places of the city. The Maliba Campus is on state highway No 6, well connected with Bardoli, Surat , Navsari and Mahuva by state transport service.

Anti-ragging Committee - The University has an anti ragging committee and Squad. It is constituted by the University and is empowered to take immediate and stringent action against those found guilty of ragging.

Community Service - There is a provision of Community Service by Maliba Pharmacy students in the University.
