About M.A.J. Government College, Deeg,Bharatpur

M.A.J. Government College, Deeg,Bharatpur was initiated on 11th September, 1977 in a part of the fort. In this session only the first year of B.A. was run with the strength of 137 students. Commerce faculty was started in the session 1981 – 82 and Sanskrit subject was initiated in the session 1999 – 2000. English literature was started on graduation label under self-finance scheme in the session 2005 – 06 and sanction for starting science faculty was obtained from the state government during the session of 2007 – 08 for which practical labs accommodated with modern facilities were also built with the amount of Rs. 50, 00000 donated by the government.
