 Institute of Rural Management, Anand:

Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), established in 1979 at Anand. It was formed and founded with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, the Government of Gujarat, erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board. Spread over a a 60 acre site adjacent to the Anand Agricultural University, the campus is fully residential. 

PRM of Post graduate in Rural Management is the flagship course of the institute. It is of 2 years duration and last year the total intake for this programme was 120. The 2013 placements saw a highest salary of 13.50 Lacs per annum.

Facilities

Located in Anand about 36 kms. north of Vadodara and 65 kms south of Ahmedabad, it is spread across a 60 acre land adjacent to the Anand University. The institute is well equipped with the best facilities; and provides world class infrastructure to students so that it'll help students in learning.

Infrastructure:
Library: Provides the stduents with OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) and Multimedia - 42628 books, 417 videocassettes, 40 CD-ROMS, 919 microforms, 1742 MTS reports, 108 OTS reports, 309 Fieldwork reports. It also avails the students with the facility of Photocopy, Reference, Inter-library-loan and Bibliographical search assistance
Classroom: Well lit, airy and spacious classrooms with all modern facilities. It also comrpises of seminar rooms and executive training centre.
Auditorium: Air-conditioned 400-seat auditorium has excellent audiovisual projection system that is regularly used by the student community and the Institute for holding a variety of programmes. 
Hostel: It comprises of nine blocks in the hostel, each with 24 furnished single rooms. Each floor of eight rooms has a furnished common reading room, which is also used for receiving guests of students. The hostel has a boarding facility managed by an elected student body
Computer Centre: It provides the students with Library information, Printing and file access, Internet and Mail Services
