Neha Bora is a research scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where she is pursuing a PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies. She is also the national president of the All India Studentsโ Association (AISA), a student organisation involved in campaigns concerning education and studentsโ rights.
According to reports, Bora completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi before pursuing a masterโs degree at Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi. Her postgraduate studies reportedly focused on Performance Studies. She subsequently joined JNUโs School of Arts and Aesthetics to pursue doctoral research in Theatre and Performance Studies.
Alongside her academic pursuits, Bora has been involved in student politics and campaigns concerning educational access, studentsโ rights and accountability in educational institutions.
As AISAโs national president, she has participated in demonstrations highlighting examination-related concerns and issues surrounding fairness and opportunities for students. Her public appearances and speeches have addressed matters affecting students and young people, including concerns related to educational institutions and student representation.
