GREENVILLE, Texas, April 23, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sphero, Inc. today announced Blueprint Robotics™, a modular ecosystem with a ready-to-use swerve drive base that brings the excitement of competition robotics to classroom and after-school robotics programs. Students collaborate to rapidly design, build, and iterate robots using mechanical parts, motors, and sensors. This hands-on process empowers them with confidence and career-ready technical skills.
By removing the barriers that have traditionally kept robotics in specialized labs or after-school clubs, Blueprint Robotics makes it possible for more students to experience the challenge, teamwork, and breakthrough moments that make robotics such a powerful path into engineering and technology.
Early frustration is where many students disengage. Blueprint Robotics scales with the learner, offering a low floor and a high ceiling. Students can assemble one of six Rapid Robots™ in a single class period using build instructions and guided materials. Over time they can learn to leverage a robot's unique functions to compete in classroom or after school robotics competitions.
More advanced students can leverage the Blueprint Robotics ecosystem to create custom builds, leverage programming skills, and compete beyond the classroom walls - using the same platform. This approachability and scalability matters.
