Every coaching institute eventually runs into the same conversation. A student — or a parent — asks about something the institute doesn't teach: a certification in a specific software tool, an internship to put on a resume, a subject the institute's core curriculum doesn't cover. The honest answer is usually "we don't offer that," and the conversation ends there, with nothing gained on either side.
The EasyShiksha B2B Partner Program exists for exactly that moment — except it turns "we don't offer that" into a referral that earns the institute commission, without requiring the institute to build, teach, or support anything new.
Our earlier piece on how to become an education affiliate partner covers the program broadly, but institutions sit in a meaningfully different position than an individual signing up on their own.
The commission structure is volume-based: 15% for up to 100 paid referrals a month, rising to 30% above 1,000. An individual educator with a personal network might refer a handful of students a month. A coaching institute, with hundreds of enrolled students and staff who interact with them daily, can realistically operate at a completely different scale — and the tier system is specifically built to reward that difference. One institute-wide referral code, shared across counselling staff, can move an institute into a materially higher commission bracket than any individual account could reach alone.
Signing up as a Business partner (rather than an Individual) asks for a few additional details at registration — business name, and for India-based institutes, GST information if registered — but otherwise works identically. One referral code is issued to the account, which any authorised staff member can share. There's no requirement to route every referral through a single person, and no cap on how many staff can use the same code.
To see how this could play out, consider a coaching institute with several hundred enrolled students, where counselling staff regularly field questions about certifications and internships beyond the core curriculum.
If that institute referred, say, 150 paid students to EasyShiksha programs in a given month, it would land in the 20% commission tier (the slab covering 101–500 referrals). On an average net eligible amount of roughly โน7,200 per enrollment — a realistic figure once discounts, GST, and payment processing charges are accounted for — that works out to roughly โน1,440 per referral, or around โน2.16 lakh for that month across 150 students.
That's not a one-time number, either. Under EasyShiksha's lifetime attribution model, any of those 150 students who later purchase a second course, an internship, or a subscription generates commission again, with no additional referral required. Over a few academic years, an institute's cumulative referral base compounds rather than resets each month.
(These figures are illustrative, based on the program's published rate card — actual results depend on referral volume and the specific programs students choose. A full breakdown of the commission calculation is available in our detailed payouts guide.)
Does this affect our own brand or curriculum? No. EasyShiksha handles all program delivery, certification, and student support independently. The institute's role is limited to the referral itself — there's no co-branding requirement, and no implication that the institute is responsible for course content it didn't create.
Do we need a formal partnership agreement, or IT integration? No. This is distinct from deeper institutional technology partnerships (the kind covered in our parent company's Educational Alliances program). The B2B Partner Program requires only the standard application — no platform integration, custom development, or formal alliance agreement.
What if a referred student asks for a refund? Refunds are handled directly between the student and EasyShiksha. If a referral is refunded, the corresponding commission is reversed, but this doesn't affect the institute's account standing or other referrals.
Is there a cost to apply, or ongoing fees? No. The program is free to join, and there are no fees deducted from commission beyond standard tax withholding where applicable.
Applying as a Business partner takes about ten minutes, and most applications are reviewed within one to two business days. Once approved, the institute's referral code is active immediately, with real-time tracking of referrals, commission tier, and payout history available on the partner dashboard.

Already referring students informally and wondering if it's worth formalising? The application is free, and there's no obligation to hit any particular volume — institutes can start small and let the numbers make the case.
